This'll be going from least to most manspread-y, starting off with...
Midorima
Would not be caught dead manspreading, think its 'uncouth' and constantly criticizes others for doing so and taking up so much space
If he absolutely HAD to do it it would be to piss someone off or purely accidentally
Otherwise he mainly sits pretty prim and proper and with the straightest back you've ever seen a human have (livin up to the carrot name)
Kuroko
A very polite manspread, barely even a spread tbh
He'd only do it slightly and honestly really only so people don't encroach upon his space in public places (yay misdirection)
Would do it a bit more when with friends but would still do it at a relatively open distance i.e. not immediately next to someone, and would always make sure to not bump into any limbs
Akashi
Respectable manspread
Tbh he'd probably only really do it with people he can REALLY relax around eg. the Rakuzan team and the GOM, otherwise he's like Midorima where he sits impossibly prim and proper
Definitely more spread than Kuroko and might occasionally bump into other's personal spaces, but immediately apologizes and corrects himself (though I'm sure people like the 3 Uncrowned Kings wouldn't mind, and would even encourage him to get physically closer more)
Kise
Pretty average manspread all things considered
He's probably a bittt more laid back abt it cuz of appearances and whatnot but he cares less and less about that by the day lol
He's already pretty touchy so he wouldn't mind at all getting into people's personal spaces all that much (and yk I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't mind either cuz its, yknow, Kise Ryouta LMAO)
Him and Aomine have definitely gotten into competitions to see who can manspread the most on the bench and knock each other off during games though
Kagami
Above average manspreader
Mans lived in America so I'm sure its just like second nature to him especially in public spaces LMAO
He's definitely gotten a few complains (mainly from Kuroko/his team) that he tends to spread a bit too far and to tone it down a notch
It's definitely lessened since he moved back to Japan and his trying not to come off super rude (and Riko probably beat his ass to get him to stop doing it as often)
Murasakibara
Tbh thats just how he sits half of the time dudes got long legs
Doesn't really care all that much if he gets in others personal spaces
He used to get a lot of flack for it during the Teiko days since they had shorter members on the team. but after joining Yosen where everyone else basically does the same and is the same height as him it's become less of a problem and more of a mild inconvenience more than anything
He also just does it purely to annoy people cuz he's a little hater and we love him for that
Aomine
The Ultimate Manspreader. Need I say more
The Earth would have to stop spinning for this dude NOT to manspread wherever he goes
Doesn't care who he's sitting next to and will do it regardless of where he is; he has absolutely gotten some nasty remarks for this LMAO
Thinks it makes him look all cool and mysterious in photo ops when he does this
Will only tone it down if someone like Momoi, Kuroko or Akashi tells him to, won't listen to anyone else and in fact will ramp it up more if the above three aren't the ones who asked

i found this really cute! honestly, the way he stands here totally captures how i always picture seijuro's dynamic with his rakuzan seniors, like he's constantly being babied by them😭
look at their different vibes lol. nebuya is just tagging along, but kotaro is 100% being a hype man and then there's mayuyu looking all 'pissed' but the way he's still helping out..🥹
then there's him, sei-chan being sei-chan -_-" hitting his iconic signature pose and giving off that 'absolute' energy Imaooo
okay but now can we talk about how reo looks SO GOOD here?? like he's always fine but this drawing is just hitting different

one thing i like to think about/potential explore more longform is kinda projecting my own trans/gender experience(s) on akashi bcuz of course i do lol. more specifically him being transmasc and him growing up with that identity.
when i was younger i used to HATE the color pink and actively went out of my way to only get things in the 'cooler' color purple, to where it basically became my entire personality at one point (i distinctly remember having these really cute purple fairy wings i would wear all the time and damn remembering that i wish i still had them lowkey anyway). and i feel like akashi would have grown up with a similar mindset of not wanting to like anything 'feminine' cuz to him that would demean him being a man or more masculine (and with masaomi's influence i could definitely see that happening more where he's told to value less feminine things etc). him specifically not liking the color pink because he thinks it would be too girly for him even though deep down he actually really likes and even prefers the color pink, but he tells himself that he doesnt.
and that comes with its own conflicts because of course his hair is on the pinker/magenta side (and so is his mom's), so there comes the extra self-loathing of hating his appearance even more than he already did but at the same time loving it because he loves his mom and loves looking like his mom more than his dad. this also brings up the question of when he would have started to transition and i like to imagine its after his mom died or very soon before, so he's always left with that lingering guilt of not being the 'perfect daughter' of his mom and disappointing her (even though, realistically, she wouldn't be and i hc that she knew very early on that akashi was more comfortable presenting as a guy and would have loved and supported him regardless) but in akashi's mind that's just another thing to add to the pile of him being a 'failure'.
similar to what i ended up going thru though he would start to moreso come to terms with his gender identity and being able to express himself more openly and not worry about constraining gender norms. because obviously dressing or acting a certain way doesn't determine his identity and i think he'd grow more in-tune with that especially at rakuzan where he has someone like mibuchi who is very open about his identity/sexuality. he starts warming up to the color pink and would absolutely hoard hello kitty items my guy is a hello kitty person through and through and you can't convince me otherwise. maybe he would even start dressing more androgynously as he grows more comfortable since i imagine he'd initially be trying to mimick his father's way of dress as he perceives it as stereotypically masculine.
