45.6 GB and SIXTEEN FUCKING MINUTES!!!!!

I deleted a lot gbs and got it down to 73 but then also added moar cc 🚬🥴 and now its 77GBs but!!!! It takes like 5-6 mins to load ! I learned that really highpolly cc does actually affect your load time and how shit your game runs so im in the process of removing that or decimating everything myself hehe

without my fantasy cas/build buy folders my mod folder is 112gb and with my fantasy cc it's 136gb. i usually get on my phone while my game loads [attention span problem] but i think it takes like 5-10mins!

i have 313 MB in my mods folder rn :D It takes probably less then 2 minutes to load! Even with a save file that's full of custom builds!

17.2 GB rn (hopefully I'll keep it around this because I already have a lot of stuff i don't need), around 2 minutes to load! It's very fast comparing to my old laptop, I didn't use cc back then, only a couple of mods like better BB, but I started to use Gshade at some point and yeah... it was not VERY long (i guess around 7-8 min at max?), but still when I finally got the brand new laptop I was so shocked and pleased

OMG!! My folder currently weighs 45.5 GB, and I need it all! I have a feeling this is not the limit...

pray for my pc, my folder is about 110gb.... I recently timed the loading time of the game and it turned out that it only takes 5 minutes, but it feels like about 3 hours lol

i have 61,7 GB in my Mods folder and i have to wait like 13-15 minutes to start playing! but i actually don't have such a bad computer...

i'd like to make it thinner, but it's a hard step...

But honestly, I'm happy with my little collection. Based on how much CC I have, I always thought my Mods folder would be around 50 GB, but apparently not 😅

My Sims takes about 5–7 minutes to launch (though I have pretty decent hardware).

And yes, I agree with @celerka0-0 — the first time I launch the game after turning on my computer always takes the longest, while every launch after that is much faster.

To speed up loading a little, I use the advice of my favorite @sonozakisisterssims4

Each mod has its own folder in the folder.

Mod name in English.

Spaces are replaced with "_"

No symbols or additional icons. Then the app loads quite quickly! Happy simming, everyone!😎😎😎
