Tools for Daily Sketching.

Recently I started sketching and painting with watercolors. As a new years resolution I decided to improve my drawing skills by drawing daily.

So here is all the stuff I will need to draw.

1 sketchbook (The one in the picture is a Moleskin, but I love using Zap Book for just sketching)

1 pencil (Derwent Sketching)

1 eraser (I use Koh-i-Noor pencil shaped eraser)

1 watercolor brush (The blue one in the picture is Pentel)

1 pocket sized watercolor set

1 pencil sharpener (This one, the giant pink thing on the left is called Stabilo easy, and it has 3 holes for different sized pencils, and it is pretty good)

some aceo papers

1 fine liner (I love to use Copic Multiliner, that’s water proof pigment ink, and the tip hardly goes bad)

some inspirational stuff like a hand poppet (I have a lot of these from Studio Ghibli)

a paper holder (I use a snow globe for that but anything heavy to help paper stay straight is good)

This can be down-sized to just carrying 1 pencil and a few aceo papers if I want to travel light.

I hope to post here some sketches everyday.
