“Noo, I don’t think I could.” Riley swiftly shook her head and waved her hands in front of her.

she shrugged. “more for me.”

“You’re in my store.. kind of is.”

“with that attitude you’ll go out of business. now, are you going to sell it to me or not? i don’t have all day.”

“Boo hoo for not being a vampire anymore dear ol’ Katherine.” Kol mused as he finished off the blood.

“it’s not ideal.” she admitted, focusing her full attention on him. “but i’m katherine pierce, i still have my ways of wreaking a little havoc.”

“Why exactly do you need wolfsbane?” Hope was always one to question clients and customers that came in simply because she wanted to protect the town always.

“that’s none of your concern.”

“What the hell do you need that it can’t wait.” Hope growled.

“wolfsbane.”

“Seriously?” Riley questioned a little more nervous to try it as she hardly drank. However she picked it up and brought it to her lips, making a face after she shot it down. “Oh god!”

“don’t say i didn’t warn you.” katherine quirked a brow. “another?”

Kol nodding, knowing he could relate when he was a witch bring brought back to his vampire body. Though he never tried to control it until Davina he chuckled now, “It’s got it’s ups and downs.” He spoke bringing his now blood filled cup to his lips.

“more ups, if you ask me. alas, i’ve accepted my fate, doomed to my useless traveller body for eternity.” she groaned, betraying her lie.

Hope’s eyes began to narrow to the woman, “Care to not ignore it?” She questioned with a slightly firm tone in her voice.

“well since you asked so nicely...” katherine trailed off wearing a fake smile. “no. i’m here because i need something, it can’t wait.”

“Too young? I’m 23.” Riley giggled softly, “I mean it won’t kill me if I try it right? So yeah! Just between us.”

“please.” she retorted. “it took me at least thirty years to start drinking this bad boy straight.” she slid the shot glass over with a wink. “i guess we’re going to find out.”

“Booze for you Katherine, blood for me.” Kol raised a brow to the doppelganger, holding his blood bag.

“cheers.” was her response, raising the bottle before pressing it to her lips and taking a long gulp. “god, i really miss blood sometimes.” she sighed, it was so much easier, only needing one thing to sustain yourself. “what i don’t miss is that ridiculously high vampire tolerance.”

“You know I’ve never tried that Auntie Kat.”

“you might be a little too young to appreciate it.” she pointed out, pouring the strong drink into a shot glass. “however i’m willing to let you taste, guaranteed it stays between us.”
