Before surgery, 4 months post op, 1 year and 8 months post op. The difference is amazing. When people tell me my back looks great or compliment me and tell me I look beautiful, this is the reason I never believe them. I went 26 years looking like photo 1. I am 1 year and 8 months into looking like photos 2 and 3. That doesn’t reverse over 24 years of internalized hate and external bullying. If I’m annoying with compliments it’s because nobody ever complimented me before. Please be patient.

I used to wear Milwaukee Brace for almost 4 yrs sa high school. I stopped dancing bec im not allowed to remove my brace for 23hrs. Fighting lang tayo dito!
