being chronically ill in a heatwave is absolutely horrible. it's so hot and I can't regulate my temperature and I feel so sick. my partners spent most of the day misting me with cold water as I lie on the sofa with my eyes closed trying not to throw up

Pearl has had 7 car rides now, and she's getting better every time, she only screeches for the first few minutes and then just lies down and settles in for the ride. it's usually the first car ride she makes noise for and then the return journey she's quiet as a mouse. probably because every time she goes out she gets vet intervention of some sort and she's just happy to be going home. she's such an angel for every vet, she just let's them do their thing, she's so brave. i said to the vet today if you go out the back and say my old cats name I bet everyone will remember her because she was so awful to every single person and screamed the place down and I used to have to come and collect her early because she'd be making everyone's lives hell. Pearl is my redemption arc. the whole vets surgery adore her. first vaccinations are done, worming tablet complete. what a little lady
