For everyone not in the cursed child fandom here’s a news update:

The official Cursed Child NYC account recently implied that Albus Potter uses he/they pronouns

They posted photos of Rose, Scorpius and Albus with text that described the characters and used both he/him and they/them for Albus

This was exclusive to Albus and did not happen in Rose or Scorpius’

Another favourite is OBVIOUSLY scorbus which is the ship between Scorpius Malfoy and Albus Severus Potter

In their original 2 parter versions they were written as best friends and Scorpius ended the show by asking Rose out, however when the 1 parter was released this was changed and it has since been changed in the 2 parter as well. Some people still aren’t aware that scorose is no longer canon and scorbus now is.

Along with removing scorose they also made several other changes to make Scorpius and Albus’ relationship less platonic since actors and fans had been asking for years.

Scorpius is nerdy, sweet and goofy. He loves sweets and homework and is thrilled when he’s compared to Hermione Granger. Just like his father, Draco Malfoy, he has platinum hair, grey eyes and a pointed chin. He also has his fathers nose.

Honestly I never much cared about this one until I saw this clip and something about it changed me + Craig is my favourite member of The Gang rn so it gives me more of an excuse to talk about him.

In the shortened version of the show Craig was made into head boy which means he is now in the 7th year while James is in his 6th year, all the other students in The Gang are in their 4th year.

Craig is described as being “loveable and cute”, in the dark world he is the only (surviving) member of The Gang to not be successful or popular in a world ruled by Voldemort. He’s also really smart as he is a head boy and was forced to do Scorpius’ homework in the dark world. Craig also does die in the show so. Angst potential ig?

James Sirius is the eldest child of Harry and Ginny Potter. He’s mischievous and likes to mess with his little brother, Albus (and also seems to dogpile when people bully him???). He canonically looks identical to his grandfather, James Potter Sr, as they’re played by the same actors in the show.
