@dotelski and also anyone else look for books on the cheap! I.e. free
Actually I want to add my personal experience with some of these books… Gray’s anatomy is one of the most complete and biblical anatomy books ever made. It’s really hard approaching to anatomy for the first time with this compendium, BUT I really can’t think about a better source of information. For the Atlas I LOVE the Netter, but I found more manageable the Prometheus. I suggest to buy physically the Netter if you can (it is a work of art) and to download the Prometheus which is really easy to find on the internet. Guyton for physiology is good I guess, a lot of my friends used it and had a really easy time learning. I personally studied from the Ganong (you can find it in PDF too;)). As for Robbins and Cotran I find it well written for educational purposes, it’s easy to read and understand, I used it too… But admittedly there are a lot of better pathology books available, such as the Pontieri. I guess you have to choose if you prefer an easier, more direct approach or a lot of extra info and details.

Sep 13, 2015 - What my desk looks like while studying on a grey sunday
may 2019 be the year you realize how beautiful, special, and worthy you are
Some things to do before you go back to school
Fix your sleep schedule (I’ve totally messed mine up after just a week so I guess I gotta fix it)
Finish all your homework
Reorganise your folders and books
Clean out your school bag
Deep clean your room
Clean out your wardrobe of clothes you don’t wear
Set some academic goals for the next year
Plan out everything you can in your planner
Refill on stationery (and you’ll probably overspend so try just to get the necessities)
These are simple and late but reminder to anyone who needs it 😉
