I was wondering why I feel that Sherlock’s love to John is exceptional and their relation’s so moving.

There’s something heart wrenching in it, don’t you think?

And I believe I know why.

It’s becasue Sherlock doesn’t have any other people he’d love, he doesn’t have boyfriends, girlfriends, people he’d like or wouldn’t like, people he’d care about.

He only has John. 

Look, how proud Sherlock was introducing John as his friend.

And how broken he felt when John corrected him, stating he’s just his colleague.

Actually, he even never expected to be someone’s friend, let alone the best friend.

That’s why it physically hurts me when I see Sherlock left, abandoned, alone again.

And I understand why he got back to doing drugs.

Feeling left all alone by the only person he loves.
