quick reminder that my own gay ass genuinely supports the hell outta each and every one of you. regardless if i know you or not, im happy to be living in this shithole of a life in the same world with you.

It’s been said before, but it can never be said enough.

I’ve been in and around ab/dl for over a decade, and I’ve seen a lot. I’ve seen daddies and mommies and ABs and DLs and LGs and LBs and switches and a whole lot in between, and one thing is clear: all this is complicated, and it’s hard to make sense of. 

So how do you deal with being an ab/dl, or liking any other sort of unusual kink or lifestyle? Well, you could look at a guide that tries to tell you what you are based on a few basic questions (and I’m not making light of these guides - they can help, to some extent), or you can remember these things:

1. It’s okay to not fit in to other people’s definitions of what you should be.

2. It’s okay to not understand exactly what you want or what you like or what you are, or why. Not everything is rational.

3. It’s okay to ask questions. Other people might not share all your feelings and ideas, but you can still learn a lot from the journeys they’ve taken.

How easily distractible I am...

Like seriously, it doesn't take much to get me off track.

Am I crying too much? Ask me a random question and watch me forget what I was upset about.

Focused too much on being an adult? Give me a new toy and watch me forget about everything else.

Won't stop babbling at you? Ask me to be a helper and watch me mindlessly wander around pretending to be big.

don't you know how scary it is to be a big kid? you can't just cuddle up to mama everytime something goes wrong. I won't be able to protect you from the all the big bad people in the world trying to take you away. I won't even be able to hold your hand or tie your laces or-

Littles can give their preference for underwear at the start of the day, but final decision is made by the Caregiver.

And if I did demiboy, I had to do demigirl too! (Took some liberty with the grays to make it fit) And I also found genderflux(?) which has some very pretty colors (had to take some liberties with those too, to make it all fit in the cats.)

Genderqueer needed to come in too, of course. Then agender, which I sometimes miss because the color scheme is so similar to aromantic, but here it is today. Add a couple more sexualities, omnisexual and polysexual… (And I will not participate in label discourse, btw; Labels are tools, not boxes, don’t use them to hurt or invalidate others) The 3s and the 7s, as you can see, do not fit well in the cats, but I try. Hope it’s close enough to read.

And you know what fits even worse than those? Intersex! I did my best, and there’s just… an implied purple cat on the other side to round out the circle, I dunno. Intersex gets ignored a lot. I had to try.
