You cant feel excluded if you isolate yourself beforehand....

Silence is too tempting... Don't see the point in avoiding it anymore

The expression, "Blood is thicker than water" is a load of bullshit if it is to be taken any way else but literally. Familial relations don't exactly matter. Although, the 'water' part could, unfortunately, be considered non-existent to some. So, yes. We basically have to fend for ourselves.

It will always be those closest to you.. They would be the ones with the ability to chip away at those last shards of sanity that you so desperately try to salvage.

Defeat is a hard pill to swallow.... But doing so would be the only way to move on...

When could you say you've tried your best?

High walls. Endless fears. No connections. Ever-present demons. She never stood a chance...

You feel happy for them but, at the same time, feel this bitterness and envy... Does that make you a bad person?

At the end of the day, some of us realize that we actually have no one else to rely on but ourselves. Those people you try to surround yourself with? Those people who talk to you because of an obligation? Those who see you only as a stepping stone? They would never be anything but accessories. Elements you could deal without...

Taking a step forward, just to end up taking 10 steps back. Choosing to speak out, just to have the words shoved down your throat. Facing your fear, just for it to come back stronger. Deciding on a path, just for it to lead you to more despair. Waking up, just to wish that you never have to again. 

how do you expect someone to “bear with it” when the place she’s supposed to call home, and the people she’s supposed to call family are the reasons why she doesn’t want to wake up anymore?
