“I feel like nothing interesting ever happens here,” Trystin mumbled, sort of to himself. He was beginning to wonder why he had left his place in New York to come to this place. 

“Maybe you just need to know where to look.”

           “i - i got an email ba - back from one com - company. one out of ten, and they don’t want to publish my - my book.” she shook her head, a deep sigh escaping her lips. “now, i’m just wa - waiting on t - ten other companies to call me - me a failure and t - tell me that i - i’m wasting my time and m - money, too.”

“Do you know how many famous authors got turned down by tons of companies before they got any of their books published? A lot. That’s how many.”

“ Ah, well that’s good I suppose. ”

“No point in buying what you don’t like.”

“I think most girls love shopping, it’s not all of them, there are the exceptions, but most girls I’ve met love ta shop.”

“I totally think i’d have to agree with you.”

“ Oh, that’s not too bad. Is it only for one outfit and a bikini ??”

“Yup. I only bought what I found that I liked.”

“Because I’m Mexican and I like my food and I’ll outgrow a bikini before I get to summer if I get it too soon.”

“Oh wow.”

“I’m glad that you had fun shopping, I’m not going to lie though, I hate shopping so much, it’s almost impossible for me to go shopping for clothes. I buy new clothes three in three years, and if you see me wearing a new cloth, is probably because someone gave to me as a gift”

“I always have fun shopping. Well, if you ever need help shopping I’d love to help out. Shopping is my second favorite thing in the entire world.”

“Hey, I need some new outfits. I’ve been wanting to spice up my wardrobe a bit,” Dax comments, throwing up some jazz hands with the word ‘spice’. “Got any local clothing store suggestions? Menswear, preferably.”

Lexi laughed a little as the boy talked about spicing up his wardrobe. “I honestly have no idea. When I go into a store i’m always just looking for things that I can wear or use.”

“I don’t trust myself to get a bikini until it hits summer.”

“Why is that?”

“ Oh, that’s not too bad. Is it only for one outfit and a bikini ??”

“Yeah, that’s all I really needed.”

“ Damn. And how much did you spend there ?? ”

“Almost sixty but I didn’t really pay attention to prices when I was buying things.”

Jackson looked up from the sheet music he had been annotating as someone approached him at the librarian’s desk. “There’s actually a self-service system to borrow books,” he suggested, pointing at it. “You don’t need to come to me to check out your books.”

“This is the third time i’m hearing about that thing but it makes me nervous. Are you sure it’s not like going to mess up on me or something? Because if it does I may have a freak out. I totally suck at the whole technology thing. It is like a computer thing right?”
