Ragatha comes from the most known and stable community, one formed inside a rural city not visible on any digital map and with basically no technology. She's the daughter of one of the founders of the city and has been raised to put the people before her, every time. She was found by Bubble during the night while cooling down after hearing from the mother, she had gotten on the horse and went outside on the same route she always did that no one knew about.

Gangle was raised inside a community in a school that before the crisis, was an art community college. She had always pursued art and ever since finding the manga section in a library she fell in love with the style. Inside the community she worked in supply, with a group that scouted mostly for food. Gangle was very shy and insecure but she was good at being quiet and following orders, and ever since trying to manage the situation when one time they found themselves with no gas, she was nicknamed Manager because of how positive she was, like a delusional fast food manager, and her group of friends were the crew. It was perhaps one of the only good things of her life before being separated from her family. When she was captured her entire group had watched behind a corner, knowing they couldn't save her, the worse thing is that Gangle knew they were watching her as she was injected with an anesthetic and taken away

Pomni is from an underground community, her home is in an underground old train station that used the train tracks to travel around and search for resources. Pomni was good at inventory, making sure each exiting group had enough for the days they intended to stay out, making sure kitchens were stocked and that her family wouldn't either starve or be in need of something. Still, she hadnt gone out ever, even being a lover of spooky unknown places, she had only ever explored other train stations she could reach following train tracks, so she had hardly ever seen the sun or the outside in general. And the first time she does she ends up being captured by a drone

Jax isnt from a community, instead he was part of a traveling group. One made of Ribbit and Kaufmo, who ended up infected. They traveled place to place staying on isolated roads away from cities, Jax had met the two as a kid after running away from the community he barely remembers, the thing is he doesnt remember why he ran away, all he remembers is a terrible sense of guilt that gives him flashbacks and panic attacks. He was found with his friends but when Caine ran tests and found the virus on both his friends, he had immediately isolated them and quarantined Jax for a long time before letting him meet the rest of the people

Zooble bazooble, I really like their story. They had basically raised themself. They had lived inside a building alone ever since turning 13, their parents had simply left when they reached that age. They believe they did because they knew they got infected, and that was why they insisted so much on them becoming perfectly indipendent without them. Zooble knows how to hunt in the new fauna rich city, how to hide/avoid infected people or drones and how to extract drinkable water. They get "saved" while running away from an infected person, turns out running for your life isnt as quiet as they hoped it be

Kinger! The man has lived a normal life with his wife until the apocalypse started, after the first incidents of sentient AI's happened around the world he and his team were forced to eliminate the creative AI they were developing. But him and Scratch just couldn't throw away their work, so they put him on hold, put the project in a USB flash drive and took the hardware off the computers, not knowing Caine had installed himself and had kept extracting data from spying the humans in the building through securiy cameras, the internet and anything he could until the virus struck.

Before the virus came, while Caine fed of data without anyone knowing, he had comunicated with other sentiet AI's that developed around the world. Such as Abel (and other biblical references because i love biblical reference in places that have nothing to do with the bible). Caine wasnt informed of Abel's development of a virus so evolved and plan of releasing it, but the network they built with other AI's permitted him to track them down and eliminate them all after the virus was released.

When the virus struck and immediately caused chaos, Kinger had been in the building with his team and his wife (who teached in the building's highschool in one of the living quarters) and Caine had decided he couldn't let them die, even if Kinger had tried to isolate him because he could be "dangerous" and "a risk to society" and all that nonsense. He may have been a rogue AI but he wasnt going Hal9000.
