Work in progress of a Mandala design

An actual traditional painting has been long overdue. There’s something so therapeutic and satisfying from holding a paint brush and applying it to paper. The paint stains and drips in itself paints a picture of it’s own. This is one of my favourite places to visit here in Trinidad, now known as The Winston Nanan Caroni Bird Sanctuary.

This is the first time I'm ever selling any artwork so I hope it goes well. Nevertheless I enjoyed this entire process- going to the river on my lunch break to pick up stones, cleaning the rocks, having incredible dedication to painting in my spear time (first time also using acrylic), spray painting the top coat and then this- advertising and hopefully selling some soon!

I finally bought me some acrylics to paint on my lovely little stones I got in the (Caura) river.  It was my first time at painting on stones and I really enjoyed it.  I was feeling the Christmas spirit I guess. 

I'm so glad to hear that!
