okay here's my entire island lineup so far

there's this type of fantasy that's..... I don't know how to describe it. like it makes you feel nostalgic for a world that's never existed. a really horrible world, and one that should never exist, but one that still feels magical and beautiful. I got this feeling with Titus Groan, with Thrones of Bones, with Vermis, with Clark Ashton Smith short stories, with The Tombs of Atuan, with Berserk, and also while playing Elden Ring (all the horror and yearning is a probably big reason why the dark souls games suck people in).

things I am okay with: people criticizing my writing. genuinely. it’s none of my business, and I will try not to look.

things I am not okay with: people going through my photos to comment on my body weight, people suicide baiting in my inbox, people writing fanfiction about what my family situation is, people diagnosing me with personality disorders, people stalking me on other social media platforms to find accounts I’ve been friendly with, people attacking the people I’ve been friendly with, people going through my blog history to find “cringe” things I’ve said (we all get it, I’m autistic), people spam commenting on photos of my pets, people speculating on which set of genitals I have, and so on.
