This is the official blog for the custom species âcorsi ossigusâ! We are a semi-closed species with uniqueness and accessibility in mind!
We run on other platforms, primarily Discord and ToyHou.se! We host our master lists of officially approved designs on the Discord and the ToyHou.se page, and swap our featured designs every month so community members get to have their characters in the spotlight!
We can also be found under the same name on DeviantArt, Instagram, TikTok, and Bluesky, although theyâre not as equally done yet.

1. Off-brand/non-approved designs are not corsi. A corsulto is heavily based in community both in lore and ownership. We try to be as accessible as we can, as to make a design is completely free so long as you interact with the group, and adopts are meant to stay under $50 USD!
2. Designs should be completely appropriate. We host a mixed ages community, and therefore there shouldnât be any designs with nsfw/suggestive innuendos, genitalia, political themes, and so forth. For our older members, designs LIGHTLY based around âdevilâs lettuceâ and booze are okay, so long as itâs not blatantly obvious. Hard drugs are a no in designs!
3. Certain anatomy rules must be followed. This includes all osseelek being the same color (or few shades of color), unless mutated, having the head and chest eye, the chest eye remaining unaltered, a split jaw, forked tongue, visible tailbones (unless mutated), lures, taller hind legs, and a fluffy mane.
4. Corsi are dimorphic! As implied on the sheet above, there are certain dimorphic attributes. Certain sexes have different pupils, although intersex can look like a binary sexâs pupils. The dimorphism continues, as females are larger and have white rings around the pupil, while males have slightly more iridescent tails, and full black pupils. Intersex can be a mix of any of these traits, blend them, or present identical to a binary sex!
5. Expanding off 4, dimorphism is NOT gender. The creator added the dimorphic traits to help with intersex and transgender representation! Have male pupils but a woman-identifying corsulto đłď¸ââ§ď¸! Just donât add genitalia, as the species doesnât have that. At all.

âWhy are adopts maximum $50?â
Great question! While artists can reasonably charge more for an average adopt, as labor costs and the expensive of life add up to a lot more, the species itself was built on the spirit of being more accessible to teenagers with an allowance and no job, who saw really cool designs but couldnât afford more expensive entries, bid to adopt, so on!
âWhy are you semi-closed?â
While I understand nothing is truly original, and it sucks to have to get an approved design, this species is something I as the creator have spent years making, growing alongside, and refining to share with others. The verification process helps me make sure that those sharing my joy follow the worldâs rules and concepts! But I also donât want to limit creativity, and therefore allow things like any patterns on the fur or bones, a mass array of accessories, free ways to obtain mutations, so forth!
âWhat is osseelek? Is it jelly?â
Osseelek is a fictional substance made for this species, that looks like jelly, maneuvers like oobleck (you can press into it gently, but itâs firm when striking something), and can crystallize to form a âscabâ when regenerating the damage to it beneath the crystal layer. If youâre wondering how itâs pronounced, there is no official way, but the creator itself says âossâ as in âbossâ, âseeâ as in âseeâ, and âlekâ as in âleakâ!
