When he catches sight of Alex though, he jumps to his feet, looking around for the source of magic like his twink ass could fight it off.
“Mister Alex, are you alright?” He asks, voice harried.
[He gets up, getting used to getting randomly teleported by anons at this point.]

Theodore relaxes, still looking incredibly wary. “Ah.. yes. My apologies. I am accustomed to the social etiquette of my own time.”
He sets his book down, brushing off the dirt that always seems to gather on his clothing, no matter how hard to washed himself.
“Can I.. offer you some tea?”
Fair enough. If it makes you feel better, that's probably the most respect anyone's ever given me when first meeting me.

[Alex flinched a tiny bit when he took Theo's hand, but he seemed fine.]

I was trying to relax, to enjoy my time at home, when they just teleported me.

“I can’t say I’m familiar with ‘anons’. Would you mind giving an old man a little help?” He smiles playfully. He still looks in his mid 20s, save for the grime ever present on his body.

So, anons are just random, mysterious entities who like to do random shit to us.
As for how? No idea how they get their power or anything. They're as much of a mystery to me as they are to you.
“Intriguing.” Theodore murmurs. There are hundreds of questions in his mind, but just then, the kettle starts to whistle. He turns and takes it off the stove, pouring Alex and himself a cup.
“Ah. So.. these anons.” He starts finally. “Why have I never heard of them before?”

Of all people, it is Theodore Right who comes strolling down the street, dressed in business casual attire clearly stolen from Elias, contrasting greatly with his thick, matted hair and grimy face. He smiles upon seeing Clive, approaching casually.
“Well, what a lovely surprise!”

Clive knows of the approach much before it happens, the bugs tell him of a figure, but of no identity. Always an extension of himself, his senses. He perks up at the sound of the voice. Oh, it's been so long since they've had a friend!
He stumbles to his feet, grabbing the crutch that lays nearby. His hands are covered in dirt, all the better to greet their friend with! His hair is longer than the last time they met, tied back - and far is the despair of a man pleading to be put into the Earth - a mess in other ways, but his smile is grossly radiant. "Oh, do come in." They stagger forward, opening up the gate. "Mr. Right, where have you been?"
Theodore steps inside, smiling at Clive. He notes the excess of bugs. Even for Clive, it’s a lot.
“Apologies, my friend. I have been quite wrapped up with Jonah’s kindness, I hardly thought to venture out on my own.” He extends his hand amiably, not at all minding Clive’s decrepit state.
The family has been growing! He's been such a good father! Can you blame him with all these sweet little things?
The gnats surround him like a cloud. As Clive takes Theodore's hand, a centipede scurries onto the other. With a gentle pinch, it is carefully dragged back. They bring Theodore's hands to their lips.
"Ah, I see, he does have... ways about him." Clive, who has scarcely left his own home beside the occasional torment, has the thought that Theodore would have better enjoyed that time here.
“That he does..” Theodore can’t help the smile pulling at his lips. Clive is so cute, getting so obviously worked up over him.
Theodore gently picks the caterpillar back up and carefully pets it before giving it gingerly back to Clive, doing his very best not to injure the little creature.
“But then again, so do you.” He grins at Clive, charming in his unkept sort of way.
"Do I now?" Clive tilts his head. He knows he does. Everyone loves him, and well, those who don't are simply wrong!
They don't let go of Theodore's hand as they lead him into the house. Tidy but not clean, everything in order but with some dingy grime lingers. Just ignore all the bugs and the cobwebs and the big spiders and awful smell! "I have missed you so." No need for sugarcoating or subtlety.
Theodore laughs softly. “And I you.” He simply brushes a cobweb gently away. The grime is almost pleasant in a way. He feels right at home. He likes Elias’ home quite a bit; but there will always be something sterile about it.
“I am glad I happened upon you, Clive.”

First and foremost — I must apologize for the behaviour of this other me. I have read quite enough to know he must be dreadful to properly speak with. My opinions on the matter are perhaps not those I would like to reintroduce myself by.
Secondly - tea would be most lovely. If it is nottoo much trouble, I may bring all manner of things to take down notes. If there is a common thread between all of our displacements, I would like to have thorough documentation.

Theodore looks up, eyes flashing with curiosity. “Finally!” He laughs. “I thought you’d been hiding the boy from me.” He stands up from where he’d been sitting idly by Elias and brushes himself off. Lucky for him he’s wearing a button down shirt, at the very least somewhat presentable for the occasion.
Theodore strolls over to the entryway, catching sight of Sylvester as he’s gathering his things up. He extends a hand, smiling.
“Theodore Right. A pleasure to meet you.”

“Only the best.” He brings Syl’s hand up to to his lips and presses a soft kiss to the back. He likes to play the part of a charming man, regardless of the reception. He brings Syl’s hand to his own arm deftly and leads him into the kitchen.
“I’ve been dying to meet you sir. Jonah is so very fond of you- I thought I might never get a taste myself.” He grins cheerily at Syl.
Such praise already [he blushed lightly as Theo kissed his hand, but mostly retained his composure. for now]
oh- no need to call me sir... please, Sylvester is fine. [his cheeks turned a slightly deeper shade of pink after that remark] I- I can't say Jonah has told me much about you... certainly he's mentioned nothing of your charm.
“Always hiding the best away for himself,” Theodore nods knowingly. “You’ll simply have to find out for yourself then, Sylvester.” He pulls out a chair for Syl at the table, motioning him to sit down. He is having far too much fun playing with Syl.

[he finds a vase in the kitchen and fills it with water, placing the bouquet in the center of the table, and then he takes the seat theo offered to him]
I got Jonah's favorite flowers, narcissi. The forget-me-nots aren't mine, though they are a close second. I just thought that adding some white roses would be... a bit much.
do you like flowers? any favorites?
He nods knowingly. “A man of taste you are.”
He takes a minute to consider Syl’s question, taking it seriously. “Typical of Jonah to idolize the flower of his predecessor.” He jokes lightly, glancing over at Elias to see if they’ll react.
“But I rather never knew the difference between them. I was, however, always partial to the bright red ones that grew in patches around my home.”

Theodore looks around for Clive, waiting in the same park they had first met anew. If he were to be honest, for once, the idea of burying Clive alive sounded.. quite attractive. And really, how could he judge? But at the same time, he rather likes Clive..
Clive is sat on a bench in the shade, completely alone. He looks smaller than he did before, but that could be the lack of even trying to wear his usual layers, so the old shirt hangs loose off his worn down frame. A bulky bag sits beside him as he stares blankly into a patch of grass.
No part of him is thinking of the fun this could bring, only the necessity of the act. It's been days of struggling to do the bare minimum, he needs some kind of fix.
Theodore spots him and hurries over, not bothering to wait for his permission to sit. He takes Clive’s hands in his own, looking at him with concern.
“Clive. Why have you asked this of me?”
"I - did not - know who else to - ask."
Clive's words are choppy, having to push them out. There's a crutch at his side, rather than the cane Theodore has seen him with before.
Theodore purses his lips, looking over Clive’s wretched state. He looks pathetic, and somewhere deep down, buried so far he cannot see it himself, he wants this. Wants to see Clive wrapped in the embrace of his-
“You look unwell.” He says slowly. “Might I ask what happened before we do anything rash?”
"No. You may not." He can still taste the blood on his tongue. Silence still rings in his ears. "It - It is not rash -! I know what I - I am doing."
Clive grabs the crutch and pushes himself up, not putting too much weight on his right leg. God, he can't help but wonder what Theodore would look like, red staining his mouth, his hands-
No, he wouldn't do that.
Theodore frowns at that, but brushes it off. Clive did not intend to disrespect him; clearly he is not mentally well.
“And you believe this is what you need?” He asks evenly.
"I have done it before. I just — do not know any-one to help. Please." Clive is only a little aware of how he comes off. He doesn't want Theodore seeing him like this, but to be buried feels like one of few rational options.
He knows that infecting people and putting them underground to fester works efficiently. If all goes right... is should work for him.
"I know it is what I need."
Theodore has been fighting for far too long. He wants this. He wants this more than he knows how to explain. His foundations are cracking. He must act.
“Alright.” He says finally. He stands, looking down at the soft earth beneath his feet. There’s a pull, something unnatural there that he can’t quite explain. He knows what he needs to do.
He bends down, hand sinking into the soul he knows like his own home. It parts for him, a gaping maw opening to swallow him whole. But it is not for him. Not this time. He turns to Clive with a particularly unnerving smile plastered across his face.
“Then off you go.”
Were Clive in any better of a state, he would have been able to appreciate the lovely look on Theodore's face for longer. He grabs the bag he had brought. God, it is not a graceful way for her to come, but he needs her with him – he has never been down there alone.
"Come with me." He knows that won't happen. "Please, my — friend." He looks down into the waiting earth, breaths growing tense with some combination of anticipation and lingering fear that this method won't work. It needs to work.
Theodore considers it for a long moment. Those wild, desperate eyes call to him. But somewhere deep down, he knows it will not fulfill him.
“I- I am sorry my friend. I cannot join you.” He lays a hand on Clive’s shoulder comfortingly- at least, that’s how it seems. His grip is just a little too tight.
“You will be alright.”

Theodore looks up, eyes flashing with curiosity. “Finally!” He laughs. “I thought you’d been hiding the boy from me.” He stands up from where he’d been sitting idly by Elias and brushes himself off. Lucky for him he’s wearing a button down shirt, at the very least somewhat presentable for the occasion.
Theodore strolls over to the entryway, catching sight of Sylvester as he’s gathering his things up. He extends a hand, smiling.
