I also Do Not Want This Book.

I have such mixed feelings on this because Crooked Kingdom did a great job wrapping up the six characters' arcs and I'd hate to see this spoiled with a poorly realized 3rd book. At the same time, I'm a total Kaz simp (we're all different, but I connected with his story the most) and I feel like he ends the series with still a lot of room to grow as a character. Like, Kaz's whole conflict in the series is whether he's going to continue down the path of isolation and destruction or if he's going to let himself be vulnerable and connect with others. At the end of CK it's implied he's chosen the latter, but it's so up in the air regarding how this choice will impact his life. I think there's a lot you can do with that. So yeah, I'm nervous but hopeful for SoC 3
