such a fun dynamic too, it really forces him to focus and keep his control because he doesn't want to fully exorcise her and send her away, so he has to hold it just right, straining with his power while ruby is squirming and grinding against nothing

But the Ghost games seem to center more on the concept of "The Ghost" rather than any singular character. Tsushima and Yotei take place in the same continuity centuries apart, but Jin and Atsu have absolutely nothing to do with each other beyond the fact that they share the title of being a legend among the people as a "vengeful spirit", in Atsu's case she's very specifically known as "The Onryo", since onryo are distinctly vengeful and said to be able to harm those in reality. Namely the concept of "The Ghost" that this series focuses on is the concept of a lone rogue warrior who survives countless battles and becomes a myth-like figure among the people because they instill fear in their foes and ruthlessly pave down enemies with exceptional combat skill. Jin and Atsu have that concept as their main commonality, even if for different reasons, since Jin is fighting back against a cunning and ruthless enemy who slaughtered his fellow samurai while Atsu is out for revenge for her family who she lost long ago.
