Do not be Grieved

And do not be grieved, for the joy of the LORD is your strength…

Nehemiah 8:10

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” (Isaiah 26:3 NIV)

But when you ask Him, be sure your faith is in God alone. Do not waiver, for a person with a divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.

James 1:6-8 ESV

Nothing can Separate Us

For I am sure that neither death nor life,

Obey Your Spiritual Leaders

Obey your spiritual leaders, and do what they say. Their work is to watch over your souls, and they are accountable to God. Give them reason to do this with joy and not with sorrow. That would certainly not be to your benefit. Hebrews 3:17 NLT
