A West Virginia woman admitted in federal court this week that she arranged for a police chief to rape a teenage girl in her family for as little as $50, authorities said. Kristen Naylor-Legg, 28, was present during both encounters and even provided towels so the 17-year-old victim could clean herself, according to prosecutors. She received $100 for the first incident and charged $50 for the ...

Two cops are on-scene at a traffic accident. One leaves the scene temporarily. When he returns the other accuses him of "leaving his post" without permission. If this was any other workplace scenario, there might've been a heated exchange of words, at most. Maybe one or both of the workers would go to their supervisor with the issue. But these are cops. So what happens? It's something the courts are trying to untangle as one cop is on assault with a weapons charges. The other cop - who shot the currently-accused cop ten times - isn't facing any charges. For shooting his coworker ten times. If these two clowns can't resolve a simple workplace dispute without assaulting or shooting each other, how in the hell does it make sense that they should be allowed to continue to be police, who presumably are put in much hotter situations where they're confronted by angrier people who aren't their direct co-workers?

The Ottawa Police Service has launched a criminal investigation after a former officer called for a probe into what appears to be a fraudule
So: -A woman joins the Ottawa Police Service and is almost immediately subjected to clear sexual harassment by several male colleagues & superiors. -When she doesn't comply with advances from her male colleagues/superiors, they start a smear campaign with rumours about how "crazy" she is. -She complains about the harassment to the police chief. Afterwards, she's asked to meet with two HR people at a restaurant, where she's told the chief is taking her off active duty and removing her service weapon until she undergoes a psychological evaluation by a psychologist - "Dr. Frey" - chosen by the OPS. -She meets with the "psychologist" five times in a room on a university campus, sitting on folding chairs. In addition, "Dr. Frey" stated in his report that he would "test her level of paranoia" by "unexpectedly showing up at her place of employment, intentionally filing reports later than promised and scheduling and cancelling appointments on short notice." She says that sometimes "Dr. Frey would turn up her her work and just stand at the front desk and stare at her. -At their fifth session, she accused "Dr. Frey" of being an imposter and informed him of the criminal offense associated with that. After that confrontation, "Dr. Frey" submitted a report to the OPS clearing her for a return to duty. -Now, over a decade later, it turns out that the "Dr. Frey" she met with and was assessed by was an imposter, posing as an actual psychologist named "Dr. Frey" who had never met this woman and filing the report using the real Dr. Frey's letterhead. The woman's personnel file has no information about visits to a psychologist whatsoever. So it appears that when the Ottawa Police Service receives a complaint of sexual harassment from one of its officers, their response it to remove her from active duty and then hire someone to pretend to be a psychologist to torment her into quitting altogether.
