Cheating, the easiest way to go about this.

I knew he was home, I did my research before, so I won’t reach a dead end easily.

As I knock on the door, I start to think of how my plan would backfire; he wouldn’t feel the same, his kid and girlfriend would interrupt us—

My thoughts were cut short as he opened the door. 

“Ronnie?” he asks tiredly.

Fuck! He just woke up.

“Hi Craig, can I talk to you for a bit? Or is this a bad time?” I ask, hoping that it didn't show how nervous I was.

He looks at me with a confused expression before saying: “Uh, no, come in.”

As I follow him in, the door closes behind me; no turning back now.

We both sit on the couch, sitting next to each other in silence.

“How’s Leila and Gab?” I ask, attempting to break the silence.

“Fine, now why are you here again?” he replies, with venom in his words.

“Why are you freaking out?! I’m not going to fucking kill you! Calm down Mabbitt!” I yell out, obviously mad at him now.

He looks taken aback……… 

He deserved that.

“Sorry, I can never be too careful, considering how you were in prison and all.” 

He looks down, it’s obvious he feels bad now.

“It’s fine, just don’t jump to conclusions, I’m only here to talk.” I smile.

Which is mostly true, in a way.

How did these feelings come to be?

I don’t even know!

One day in prison, I just went from hating, to finding him more and more attractive each day……..

It sickened me, but that’s why I started talking to people, rather than just doing what they asked.
