Also thinking about Jade having a breakdown after brainwashing John when he stops going along with her schemes on Earth C. She truly believes it was her only choice, because she knows what’s best for him, but at the same time she recognizes that she’s losing her brother. Even though this is ultimately to keep the only family she has left from leaving her, once he’s brainwashed, she knows this isn’t really John anymore, and the only person in this world who could possibly understand her is gone. She puts on a strong front, but on the inside, that breaks her.

Thinking about pathetic man Earth C John. He looks successful on the outside but really he’s just following Jade’s orders despite not really believing in anything they’re doing anymore + everything feeling pointless and directionless after SBURB. He doesn’t know what else to do, so he just follows the plans set up for him by his family, even though he’s unhappy with it. Sometimes he still pranks people to amuse himself, but mostly he just isolates himself in his tacky mansion and tries to use alcohol and partying to forget about the growing sense of worthlessness gnawing away at him. He bakes more desserts than he can even eat just to occupy himself so that he doesn’t totally slip into despair. Truly the shell of a man <3
