You deserve to be loved without confusion.

To feel seen without having to beg.

To rest without guilt.

To protect your peace without apology.

You deserve to choose you.

To heal fully.

To grow past old patterns.

I overwork because somewhere deep inside, I convinced myself that rest is weakness, and peace is a prize I haven’t earned yet.

I exhaust myself just to satisfy myself, but this satisfaction? It’s a slippery thing— always ahead, always asking for more. Do more. Be more. Push more. Sleep less. Feel less. Prove more.

To who? To me? To the version of me I built on guilt and high standards and invisible deadlines?

I carry my worth like a burden, like a ticking clock, like if I stop— even for a second— I’ll fall behind a race I never chose to run.

But I’m tired. And that should be enough. I shouldn't have to break to earn a breath. I shouldn't have to bleed to believe in my own being.
