Romantically Aromantic

Okay so I had a vision while doing some coloring because this is a brain food typa activity. So hear me out: Like of a reimagined princess and the frog

Except the witch who poisoned said soul was like to the whatever financially perfectly fine, physically attractive and with privilege or no lack of whatever resources are of need to the kind of humanoid they were… so materialistic pretty much.

and he obvi meets the epitome of selflessness where everything this person had ever done, had to go through, had to earn it, was a woman.

Living life by her side, well technically on her shoulder, through her eyes and soon to realize the care they had for each other was one worth a lifetime. But, our frogy has better things to do where they no longer tolerate the pity and self sacrifice she does for them. Where they soon find themselves trying to leave but face death himself.

As they are coming to death’s door, they find themselves contemplating the truth of love, where being happy for someone else and willing to sacrifice everything no matter how little for someone else, the experience of true love. In a form of acceptance they close their eyes and go back to their human form having learned the true essence of life in this body. The one she doesn’t know.

So, she walks by the human form of the soul of her lovely, strange, informed, selfish frog that kept her company for a little while.
