Chronic pain is being curled up in a ball in bed, you can't move even if you wanted to, and you have 20 things that you were supposed to have finished by now, but you don't even have time to do any of them because you have work where you are only allowed to be standing or sitting on an incredibly unsupportive chair, and it's gonna take you an hour to do the bare minimum to get ready for work so you need to try to save as much energy as possible and you have multiple pain patches on already and they feel like they're doing NOTHING
