In one comic it's implied that she harbors feelings or is at least attracted to Wolverine.

(Fred Van Lente, is very quickly making his way into the list of writers I do not like.)

It's also implied by Heather that she has a thing for Mac.

We're off to a great start (sarcasm).

Now as for official love interests:

Walter Langkowski

Walter is a controversial figure amongst Alpha Flight fans to say the least. Most people either love him or hate him. I've never had strong feelings either way.

It's implied that Aurora and Walter hooked up during the events of Machine Man in Alpha Flight #3.

During that time Walter had no idea Jeanne-Marie had DID until it's revealed to him by Guardian.

When Walter reveals this to Jeanne-Marie she's not really happy about that.

Despite this Aurora still pursues Walter and he enters an official relationship with her after she breaks into his house in issue #10 of Alpha Flight.

Walter and Aurora's relationship isn't great by any standards. Aurora tends to find him boring at times and tries to play on Walter's jealousies by flirting with other men in front of him. However she does seem genuinely heartbroken by his death at the hands of Snowbird, in Alpha Flight #24.

After reaching Walter's soul he's placed into the body of a robot, but Aurora missing the physical aspect of their relationship breaks up with him. In order to win Aurora back, Walter tries to get himself a new human body, but does in the process. Which breaks Aurora's heart.

When Walter is later brought back to life, Aurora tries to rekindle their relationship, but there is one small problem:

Walter's is now a woman going by Wanda.

This ends any interest on Aurora's part.

When Wanda is later transformed back into Walter, the two start dating again, but the relationship once again ends.

Now to answer your question as for if Walter was a bad boyfriend well...

This is where we get into murky waters.

Many people view Walter's continued relationship with Aurora as lack of consent on Jeanne-Marie's part. Jeanne-Marie actively tries to end the relationship and shows disgust and fear towards Walter.

Fans of Walter, I tend to find aren't necessarily fans of "Walter", rather fans of Wanda, and don't care for the implication of a heavily trans coded character, specifically one coded as a trans woman, being a rapist.

Other people take issue with Walter altering Aurora's powers. Although this was at her request, Walter actively hiding the full extent of his experimentation.

Other people also take issue with the age gap, Aurora being in her early twenties and Walter seemingly being in his mid to late thirties.

I'm going to let you make of this what you will.

2. Rodger Bochs

Rodger Bochs, also known as Box, is a wheel chair user who aids Alpha Flight with his mech suit. After Walter's "death", Aurora enters a relationship with him but that starts it's own set of problems.

When Rodger is confined to his suit after getting the bends while on a mission. Aurora considers ending things with him due to his disability. Which leads to Rodger seeking out Lionel Jeffries to restore his ability to walk.

In that same issue Wanda comes back to life and Aurora reveals to Rodger that she was only using him as a rebound.

This rejection leads to Rodger going insane and trying to kill Aurora.

The whole story line is a diservice to both characters. During the Byrne run Rodger was comfortable with his disability and wouldn't let anyone give him shit over it. Now he's self hating and horrible.

Aurora's writing is so out of character, that it was later retconned that this wasn't Aurora nor Jeanne-Marie but a different alter entirely.

3. Kyle Gibney

Kyle Gibney, also known as Wild Child, is a reformed villain who later joined Alpha Flight and X-Factor. He and Aurora have a brief relationship, before he breaks up with her.

In X-Factor #116, it's revealed that this break up sent Aurora into a depression and she ends up trying to kill him.

Surprisingly this one of her healthier relationships.

Most of it happens of screen, but I have to say I wish we got to see them be an actual couple. I think they could've been good for each other.

Kyle tries to get back together with Aurora when they end up on the same team in Weapon X. However, Aurora is now repulsed by him and rejects Wild Child's advances.

Granted the whole Weapon X story line is shitty to both of them.

4. Nathan and Alex Summers

Counting this as one because it happens during the same comic.

During the 1990s X-Man solo series, Nathan Summers (an alternate reality version of Cable) and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants break Aurora out of the mental hospital she's been admitted to after trying to kill Wild Child.

Aurora's portrayed mostly as an object for the men around her to ogle at. She tries to sleep with Nathan and later kisses Havok, before departing the comic.

Not much to say there.

4. Malcom Concord

I want this man's head on my wall.

During the Weapon X storyline (another downright terrible portrayal), Aurora has a crush on her team's handler, Malcom Concord. Who is constantly rejecting her advances.

Early on in the story, while on a mission Aurora is attacked and mauled by Sabertooth (with the implication that he also sexually assaulted her). Her face is heavily scarred as a result.

Malcom, who has his own facial differences, is now interested in Aurora and as her face heals they begin dating. It's happy at first, but Malcom also has an intense prejudice towards mutants. Eventually he snaps at Aurora and attacks her.

Aurora gets her revenge by beating Malcom up and abandoning him in the desert.

As she should.

5. Akihiro

In X-Factor, Jeanne-Marie begins dating her fellow mutant Akihiro, a former super villain.

Arguably the healthier of her relationships I think they're rather cute together and that makes their break up in Helllverine much more tragic.

I'm not holding my breath on them ever getting back together, but a guy can dream.

Northstar:

As far as cannon goes Northstar's husband, Kyle Jinadu, is his only in cannon love interest. However that does not mean there weren't hints and I certainly have my headcanons.

For this part I'm going to be citing a post @ northstarfan made back in 2012: Northstar's Boyfriends, as well as my handy dandy Alpha Flight: True North handbook, written by Daryl Richard Lawrence.

Northstar has been on a few different teams over the years and has had a crush on a few different teammates.

Such as Walter Langkowski: I don't know where Bill Mantelo got this idea from (I don't know where Bill Mantelo got half his ideas on Alpha Flight from). For some reason he interpreted Jean-Paul's anger at Walter as not him being jealous of his relationship with Aurora, but the result of an unrequited crush.

During the Mantelo run we can see Jean-Paul crying over Walter's death and him implying in a conversation with Wanda that he used to have a crush on her.

Bobby Drake: An early plot point in Chuck Austen's Uncanny X-Men was Jean-Paul having a crush on the very "straight" Iceman. Something that only keeps getting funnier as time goes on.

Remy LeBeau: At Lorna Dane's bachelorette party, Jean-Paul admits to finding Gambit attractive. I'm not going to show that panel because every time I look at it, it makes me want to claw my eyes out.

Now as for implied/official partners:

Raymonde Belmonde:

In issue #8 of Alpha Flight, Jean-Paul introduced Aurora to his "friend" Raymonde Belmonde. Raymonde is a heavily queer coded character. With Northstar showing disbelief when he reveals to have daughter going so far as to call it "impossible". Later in the story the narration box describes Raymonde (in heavily coded language) as helping Jean-Paul discover his own queerness.

Raymonde's relationship with Jean-Paul is questionable at best. Although many have argued that John Byrne, intended Raymonde to be Northstar's lover, he has sense been retconned to being solely a father figure.

Which is probably for the best. Raymonde is several decades older than Jean-Paul, he has a daughter his age. It's stated that they met when Jean-Paul was "scarcely more than a boy". Combine that with the implication that Raymonde was also the one who recruited Jean-Paul into the FLQ, the whole relationship becomes deeply troubling.

I choose to view Raymonde as Jean-Paul's father figure, mainly because I think both of the twins backstories are tragic enough without throwing abusive relationships into the mix.

2. Yves//Lettre B

In issue #2 of the Northstar solo, Jean-Paul mentions that while living in Paris he and his friend Mariel, shared a "very special friend" (read: boyfriend) named Yves.

Although Yves is never shown, I have my speculations on who exactly he was.

In Marvel Fanfare #28, Northstar is in a rush to save members of the terrorist group he used to be in including a man named Yves and his wife.

Interestingly enough out of all the members these two are the only ones Northstar is able to save.

It's also implied in the Northstar solo that Mariel and the Yves she and Northstar with all met during their terrorist days.

I don't think it's that far a stretch to assume that these two Yves are one in the same.

3. Maurice

In Alpha Flight #18, Northstar is scene relaxing by the pool with two other people. A man named Maurice and his girlfriend Rhonda.

They are seen again in Alpha Flight #22 when Aurora comes to visit.

4. Raul

In the Northstar solo series, Jean-Paul is shown sharing hia home with man named Raul. There isn't much to be said about him. There's an implication that they got into a fight and broke up when Raul attempted to discuss Jean-Paul's mental health, the speedster having become depressed after the dissolution of Alpha Flight.

5. Hercules:

In an issue that effectively outs Hercules as bisexual, Northstar attends his funeral with a bunch of Hercules's other exes, including his teammate, Snowbird.

6. Kyle Jinadu

Last but not least, Northstar's husband was introduced in Uncanny X-Men #508, finally giving Jean-Paul an cannoncial boyfriend. Forty years after he first debut and over twenty years after he first came out.

I love them so much!!!

Kyle's a good fit for Jean-Paul. He supports his husband in everything he does but is also able to reign Jean-Paul in when he's taking this too far.

My only critique is that I wish Kyle was developed outside of their relationship a bit more.
