About the Youtube channel specifically: I am gonna stop making Let's Play content, at the very least the MC-related stuff. My videos will probably be mostly edits of whatever I'm hyperfixated in, like the one Life Series compilation thingy I did.
I still really want to show off my Malignant character, but I haven't even been able to start editing my ep1 and the final session is this week, so I don't think it's happening.
Instead, my goal is to try and summarize + dramatize the sessions, character backstory moments included, in a fanfic format on AO3. Hopefully that turns out more succesfully for me.

So...
Some changes happening in my life. For too long now, I have been pressuring myself to still try and work on projects I started all the way last year, and it led to me doing absolutely nothing because I didn't have enough passion, while feeling horrible about it at the same time.
Tough decisions had to be made. We made agreements through an in-system discussion, but it's still not easy to say this even now:
The blanked out items are personal projects which will not be posted anywhere.
Basically everything that we started last year is being dropped or altered in some way to put less pressure on us.
This isn't to say we're never allowed to return to those projects, but for the time being our old ways just weren't sustainable. If we want to stop feeling miserable in our inactivity, we need to switch to things that are actually fun for us at the moment.
We're still finalizing the details, so further updates on this topic coming soon.

It’s funny but incredibly telling how entitled/ignorant/insensitive some of these people are… idk if it’s an education gap or purposeful ignorance.
The really bewildering thing to me is that I remember when you needed to get up and pull a dictionary off the shelf, or visit a library to look up the facts you needed. Now people have all kinds of information literally at their fingertips and they can’t be bothered to use it.
When you know politics but no facts

To anyone who supported/were fans before this all came to light. You are not at fault do not feel bad/guilty do not think that you were WILLINGLY supporting a bad person, you didn’t know, many of us didn’t know and if you donated or made art or fics or anything you are not to blame and you don’t deserve hate. It’s your choice with what you do with your art, if you choose to separate the creators from the characters we love or choose to stay away from anything involving them that’s your choice and you will and should be respected for that choice.
You are not to blame or feel guilt for their actions
I personally will be taking the character Avid (mostly v!Avid) and reclaim him because their creator is gone and he now belongs to the community but it’ll be a while before I do any art/thing involving them but he was still a character I adored and came to learn about, I will still and always will after all this not support their creator.
