    “if it’s one thing i’ve learned over the years, it’s that you have to keep your friends close, and your enemies... much closer. sometimes... even a little too close.” fisk was about to add something else, but kept his tongue in-check. well, this time around at least. “--- tea?”

     “My reach is limitless,” Fisk said, arms folding calmly over his chest, “However, the way I see it? Your very own is not.”

“— but is enough REALLY enough?” A question that didn’t need to be asked, but was done so anyways for the sake of the moment.
