why do this?
Gif makers deserve to be credited for their work! Not crediting the gif maker also means not crediting the video creator, whether it be the gif maker's own video or someone else's linked video. Just saying "found on Pinterest" or "credit to the creators" is not helpful because it doesn't redirect any attention from your post to the original creators.
This blog is not meant to shame anyone! I understand that finding gif credits can be difficult sometimes and a lot of people don't know how to credit gifs so I'm trying to provide an example here ❤️ if you can't source a gif it's best to use another, even if it's frustrating. I totally get it! I've scrapped stimboards before because I lost a source and couldn't recover it but it's for the best in the long run.
