One of my favourite pastimes in university was drawing fun shapes with a compass and straight edge. These are the simplest ones I could find right now. There are so many designs you can make with just circles!!

I decided to try one of those "Shrinky Dink" crafts from a plastic polystyrene (#6) container.

Step 1: Draw a design!

A simple flower pattern made with a compass, and coloured with Sharpies.

Step 2: Bake it at 160C (325F) for 2-3 minutes. Going hotter will cause the plastic to break down and release nasty fumes, don't do that.

Near the end, it curled up on itself so much, so I flipped it over so it could flatten out. It turns out that caused the plastic and the Sharpie to stuck to the pan! And to keep it from properly taking its shape!

It.... didn't work as well as I had hoped, but I know what to do next time!

One of my favourite doodling methods is to make a squiggly line and build off of it with no plan or direction. I never know what they will turn into at the end, and I'm always pleasantly surprised! I'll post more as I find them

A little over 15 months ago, I had a phase where I looked into some anatomy and body structures. Many references were used! It was an interesting study, and strange to think about how a tail would work with a human spine.

Im leaving this sketchbook next to my bed so I can sketch out some of my dreams. more often than not, I expect it to be an environment or setting like this.

For the dream itself, I remember being a "backstage" member of a theatre performance under the central tent there, because I missed my ship with all my possessions.

The beginning!

Time to make an art blog! I'll be uploading all kinds of things here; artwork and sketches, crafts, 3d prints, maybe some pottery. I'm sure this list will expand and shift over time.

My biggest goal is to make things consistently and keep this alive. I'll also be dipping into my archive of photos from time to time to keep activity. Dates will be added if I know them.

I'll get to customizing the blog and making it pretty later. Enjoy!!
