This week’s art form I picked the art of acting. For this, I would like to make you realize how good of an actor Heath Ledger was.
Everyone knows him by now and it’s no secret that he was such an intense actor. Especially as the Joker in the Dark Knight. I’ve read some pretty disturbing things about his role and how he became the best known villain on the screen. He locked himself up in a hotel room before they started shooting, he kept to himself with no contact at all of the outside world. Making him go a bit crazy. I mean, how would you be if you locked yourself like that? That and he kept a ‘joker diary’. This was the moment his full joker shined. Even though he could get into the scene and out of it on another second, it’s still an art to do that so easily. A co-star even got a bit taken back by the intensity of his acting. Now that his production diary has been shown, it’s pretty disturbing what you could read in there. In that book, stood every sketch of clowns in nurse costumes, talking about the scene where they would blow up the hospital in the scene. The last page, read ‘BYE BYE’ written all over the page as they wrapped up filming. It’s a bit chilling that he wrote that on the lest page. In this same scene, when the button did not go off in the movie, this was not scripted. There was chaos as something didn’t blow up when it should have been instantly. All you can see in that scene, was very real and on the spot. Him pushing that button and it not working was very improvised. The translation of something on paper to the screen is an amazing thing to me. It’s very interesting how every actor can do something like this. It’s mentally becoming another person and that takes the passion to do this.

Can you believe the is a real person? Greg Nicotero has so much talent! I know they use a lot of gelatine, paint, dirt and a lot of cake make up ( you know the stuff that looks like goo for on your face). Homeday I wish my make up skills are like this!
Deadpool: the making of Colossus. I'm a bit late this week, but I am so glad I can show you this, for my art this week. Alexander Lazano is the man that designed how Colossus would look like in the movie. If you haven't seen the small little video, I'd say: Do it now. It's crazy to see how they manage to make something out of paper in to reality on the screen. It takes layers, and layers, but I love how you can see this realized step by step. It's also amazing how this took 5 different actors to make the metal man you see in the movie. The movie industry is so big and so amazing, it Always surprises me every time I find something like this!
“You’re psychotic.”
“That is a three-syllable word for any thought too big for little minds.”
This week I’m talking about Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice. The movie I’ve been waiting for, for over two years. I made a review on this link: http://fanfest.com/batman-v-superman-dawn-of-justice-review/ Please go check it out, we are doing some amazing things on this website! This is what I wrote on Lex Luthor (portrayed by Jesse Eisenberg) in my review: “Oh, and congratulations on Jesse Eisenberg for portraying such a good and strong character! He was very sarcastic (which I completely love, sarcasme is my first language). He had a strange sense of humor, talked a lot and left you breathless. He had a plan and it slowly, but surly, revealed itself in the movie. It still lingers in my mind why he wanted Superman dead first and then all of a sudden Batman. His plan was like a ping pong ball and was hard to follow. The movie was chaotic, but so is Lex Luthor. It fitted him, it fit in the whole storyline. They couldn’t have picked a better person to portray this character.” I saw the movie for a second time yesterday and I truly love his quotes. He has such another view of the heroes in the movie and it makes me wonder how he ever got that smart, that mad at the world. It can’t be all daddy-issues. Congratulations on Zach Snyder for putting such a great, dark and a movie full of action on the screen. Directed by Zack Snyder Produced by Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder Written by Chris Terrio, David S. Goyer

This week I follow up to the one last week. I’ve watched the first episode and it’s like the book is coming to life! I love when this happens, it only happend once. And that was with the books of Harry Potter. I truly love this! I can’t wait to see more.
This week I talk about the book I’m reading very slowly right now. George R.R. Martin is my second favorite writer now. On the first place it’s J.K. Rowling (come on, she’s the Queen of Books!). I truly love how it’s written in that specific way he writes in. It was hard to read, especially for someone that suffers from concentration problems like me. But it’s a very good training. Even though I read one chapter a day (which is enough for my head) slowly I overcome the fear of not reading books fast. The magic books contain is just what I need.

This is one of the best movies there exists. DC Comics did a very good job traslating this comic story into a film. People underestimate the power of other people. Another drawing I made. In my new and beautiful book (that will be in next weeks art!). I used paper, an pencil, an fraseer, Faber-Castell pencils, a blending stump and Pro-Marker markers with a blending marker. I loved making this, hopefully you’l love it too!
This week I have a very special art piece. Monopoly has so many forms as everyone knows, and when they made a monopoly a while ago from the Force Awakens, fans were not happy that they did not have Rey in it.
But Hasbro can now officialy say that they are making another one that inclusejd a little figurines of Rey! I call this an art form because the little figurines actually look like the characters! This makes it all too great! I know I want this Monopoly, even though I don’t like games like that!
This week I'll talk about a movie I saw. Yes, I saw Deadpool and I'm so lucky to be in the part in the world where is was already released.
I even made a review on it on FanFest News. I'll include the link at the bottom.
This movie is so funny and the way it's filmed made me think of the amazing spider-man 2 scene on Times Square. A masterpiece.

This week I'll be talking about digital art. Marvel's Daredevil season 2 will come very soon and that means they'll be promoting a lot of campaigns! If you see my other tumblr page you'll see I made a punisher logo drawing (note: @strangersinthesamehouse is my other account. Also I got this mini heart attack that the official page of Daredevil liked the drawing and commented on it.) I clicked on their page and I saw what you see above. This form of art is amazing because without one piece, it isn't whole and you'll need every piece to see it completely. Although every little picture has its own little story you can get lost in. Marketing can be a form of art if you just dig a little deeper. I hope you like this as much as I do! (daredevil's official Tumblr page: @marveldaredevilart )

Deadpool drawing I made just before 2015 ended. Very proud of it because I made this with black and grey Faber-Castelle pencils, Sharpies (plus black pencil again to make shadows over the mask) and a white charcoal pencil to make high lights in the drawing. I thought sharing my own art may be allowed too, once in a while!
