Happy Friday! So the other day I was on Pinterest and I found this cute idea that I decided to recreate myself to decorate our new home. I went to Michael’s and bought everything I needed. I was amazed when I realized that I only spent $15 on all the materials!

A couple days ago I shared on my IG & FB a picture with the results, (by the way please be sure to follow me, so you don’t miss out on anything) and many of my friends requested that I make a “step by step DIY post”. So today I’m sharing with all of you this beautiful DIY project. You’ll be surprised by how easy it is. I hope you like it!

Materials

Scissors

Two mason jars

Two small wood boards (5.1″ x 12″ x 0.6″)

Scotch tape

Fake Flowers

Jute

Small hooks

First of all, we are going to screw the hooks into the wood piece with our own hands by just adding some pressure and twisting it around, until it’s completely in.

Second step is cutting the jute with scissors (I skipped this step because the wood boards that I bought at Michael’s came with it in the back, so I just cut it off from the board).

As a third step, we are going to tape the jute on the back of the mason jar with some scotch tape.

**Don’t throw away the silver round top from the mason jar, we are definitely gonna use it.**

Fourth step, is to put back the silver top onto the mason jar and twist it until it’s completely secured to the glass base. Then lift it up with your fingers (as it shows on the picture down below) to make sure the jute is not coming out.

Once everything is secured, let’s hang the mason jar on our wood board.

And finally, just add some cute flowers!

This is how mine turned out. It only took me about 25 minutes to finish it. I’m in love with this idea!

Feliz Viernes! El otro dÍa estaba en Pinterest y encontré esta linda idea, y quise recrearla yo misma. Así que me fui a Michael’s (que es una tienda gigante de puras cosas para manualidades) y ahí  compre todo lo que necesitaba. Me sorprendi cuando cuando me di cuenta que solo gaste $15 en todos los materiales!

Hace unos dias posteé una foto con el resultado en mi IG & FB, y muchas de mis amigas me pidieron que les demostrara el paso a paso. Así que hoy voy a compartir este hermoso DIY con todas ustedes. Se van a sorprender de lo fácil que es. Espero les guste!

Materials

Tijeras

Dos jarras “Mason”

Dos tablas pequeñas de madera (5.1″ x 12″ x 0.6″)

Cinta adhesiva Scotch

Flores falsas

Yute

Ganchitos pequeños

Primero que todo vamos a atornillar el ganchito en la tabla de madera con nuestras propias manos. Sólo tenemos que ejercer un poco de presión y girarlo hasta que esté completamente firme.

  El segundo paso es cortar el yute con las tijeras. El largo depende de tu preferencia.

Como tercer paso, vamos a pegar el yute con cinta adhesiva en la parte trasera de la jarra.

**No vayas a botar la rosca que viene con la jarra porque vamos a necesitarla en el siguiente paso.**

El cuarto paso es enroscar la ruedita en la jarra y girarla hasta que esté bien asegurada. Luego, con los dedos vamos a levantar la jarra como se muestra en la foto de abajo para asegurarnos de que el yute no se vaya a salir.

  Una vez que todo esté bien seguro, entonces vamos a colgar la jarra en el gancho que introducimos anteriormente en la tabla.

Y finalmente anadimos las flores!

Así es como quedó el mío, y sólo me tomó alrededor de 25 minutos. Estoy enamorada de esta idea!
