theory/headcanon that Hikari's bizarre powers can be traced to her near death experience as kid. by then she was already meant to be a chosen, so the entities of the digital world were the ones who kept her alive, somehow. maybe it was the first time homeostasis possessed her, coming to this world through some digital device within the room Hikari was hospitalized. i don't think she's entirely human since that day and perhaps that's why her crest is the only one that doesn't really represents a quality/feeling, but something essential to the world(s) balance.

Hopefully adventure psi might provide more information about her powers

full offense but Yagami Hikari was called destroyer of worlds, can power up digimon by sheer force of will, is a vessel to higher forces and also can kick that higher forces out of her body, her grief alone was enough to dark-evolve her digimon from child level to ultimate and then jogress-evolve it with an infected one and create a being strong enough to obliterate the planet. you’re alive because she lets you be alive.
