While I was looking at it, the Glow and Flow festival disappeared off the calendar. I went there anyway but the festival did not occur. It remained off the calendar until the next new moon, when it suddenly reappeared, and the festival happened like normal. So, that's great, but why did it disappear in the first place...

When sims Shove Snow at each other, they make a swiping motion as if taking an object to put in their inventory and then reset. No snow gets shoved.

Similarly when sims who are Energized try to Do Push Ups etc, they make the swiping motion and glitch out. No exercising allowed.

I can't grow plants indoors except houseplants. At least on one lot. On another lot, it's working just fine. They're both community lots. Different worlds, but both are affected by winter and get freezing temps etc. Plus this is in a heated room inside. (Actually the lot where it works isn't heated...) Idk.

An oldie, but my sims absolutely cannot cook on any surface that has decor on it. It doesn't matter if there's only one small decor item tucked in the corner without cheats. The space must be 100% cleared. And then, after I clear it, the sims go use ANOTHER counter that is COVERED in decor instead - a counter they refused to use while there was that one item of decor on the other counter.

Lightning isn't a glitch, but surely it shouldn't reduce nearly all of my outdoor decor to ash every single time there's a storm... Or my sim shouldn't have a 99% chance of getting struck by lightning just by walking outside for five seconds. (but I refuse to turn off thunderstorms, I like them too much) Once I had a set of cabins in Sulani which were connected to a common space by walkways over the water. Had to delete the whole build because every time there was a storm (and Sulani gets a lot) I'd have to lock my sims in the common area because otherwise they'd get hit by lightning multiple times.

My sims cannot Relax in the hot tub. Actually that feature's been missing for so long that I'm not sure it ever existed. If I click Get In, the sim gets in the hot tub, then immediately decides to do something else and gets out. What's the point of aromatherapy then. Buuut, if two sims get in the hot tub together, they might Relax autonomously. If I'm lucky. Doesn't always happen though. No way to queue it up myself.

My sim caught a jellyfish and was going to summon the jelly butterfly with it. But I was not allowed to because the game said I had summoned jelly butterflies too recently. This sim had never summoned a jelly butterfly before, this was lit the first jellyfish he ever caught. Another sim in a different household had done it before, but that was ages ago and has nothing to do with this sim.

Similar situation, but the Plumbird quests would not spawn for me at all. I did them once with that first sim, but with the second household they will not spawn. I went and did all the quests I could find hoping that would bring it up but nope. Talking to the plumbird or interacting with the nest do nothing. I ended up cheating the end of the aspiration for the second sim.

Also not a bug but the "seductive dance" is sooooo cringe x'D I genuinely wonder who Lovestruck was for. What fan wanted this. I do appreciate having more options for romantic socials but this one is.... not it. to be fair Lovestruck is cringe in many ways, clearly they wanted to lean into the weirdness factor, probably realized there was no avoiding it in this game

Also also not a bug but I feel like the Jealous trait needs fine-tuning. It's so toxic. They should just get jealous if they see actual flirtatious behavior in their partner or crush, not just from them having other friends. I half love this trait and half hate it because it really does make the sim look like a terrible person when they throw a fit because their partner autonomously Asked About Day to another sim.

Some of the fireplaces which have the Autolight upgrade are unable to shut it off. What happens when I Disable Autolight and light the fireplace manually is, the minute the sim leaves the room the fireplaces turns off as if Autolight is enabled, but when the sim comes back into the room, it does not turn on again. Just stays off. I stopped using the Autolight upgrade years ago because of this.

An entire lot in Sulani appears glitched for me. My game crashes any time I try to play in it.

Remember how the last patch came out that removed duplicate worlds? I had two Ravenwoods, a working one and one that didn't even have lots. The patch deleted the working Ravenwood and left the corrupt one. I uninstalled Ravenwood and reinstalled it. But still I only have a corrupt Ravenwood with no lots.

One sim in the relationship has more turn-ons than the other, and is wildly attracted to their partner. But... they're like never flirty. Idk why. I don't remember it being hard to get them flirty before this pack.

Meanwhile the other has fewer turn-ons, and their attraction level to their partner has remained stubbornly neutral. Yet they're horny as fuck. I'm having trouble getting them to feel anything ELSE, at least when their partner is around

an AI-generated woman with an unplaceable accent that fades in and out just told me that her name is Maria and she is a "recognized clairvoyant and numerologist"

first of all you don't exist, "Maria," you are AI

second recognized by whom? Who recognizes clairvoyants, on what grounds, and why would they recognize an AI psychic?

Literally my first thought was, "There won't be a single new instrument in it" lol

Isn't it sad how trained we are to expect nothing from The Sims 4

I always assumed we didn't get any new instruments (literally any, not one since the base game trio) because of the cost of recording for them. But on the other hand, they have consistently added new radio stations and songs. Isn't that the same thing? I have no idea how it's done, so maybe not. But it sucks.

Personally I don't even care that much about bands. It'd be nice, but my experience with Sims 4 group activities is almost universally crappy so I think it's the sort of thing that sounds better on paper lol.

But I have lots of musical sims and I would absolutely love for them to have more choices of instruments. It'd be awesome to have a contraption like used as a One Man Band. It could even be an aspiration, look at that.

And a koto for Snowy Escape, a djembe for Royalty & Legacy, etc... We got twangy guitar for Horse Ranch and latin guitar for Lovestruck so yeah it's not like The Sims team isn't having the same thoughts as us. They know --- they just can't make it for whatever reason.

Anyway isn't it bonkers that Sims 4 has been around for a decade and this is the first time music really got its own accessories... It's just been sitting there, a dead hobby, that virtually every player uses.... Now we'll finally get to have uhhhh... a metronome lol. And some CDs to display on the wall XP

Like I'm not wrong am I. It's genuinely ridiculous that we didn't get this kit a long time ago, isn't it?? does the Sims team think being really into music ended in the 80s or something

A lot of stuff seems to me like a a no-brainer to add to the game even as a kit, but instead they make another generic party pack or whatever. Or another CAS pack that has the same style of clothes already in the game but this time it has frills! I kind of hoped the marketplace would change that. But actually I bought a pack off the marketplace, and then the Sims updated and ate it. I tried a few fixes to get it back but they didn't work, so no, I won't be buying off the marketplace ever again. I'm not here to donate to EA.

Went into this one with low expectations after the teaser last week, bc I'm not a Wolverine Weapon X girlie. I love Wolverine as an X-man but have very little interest in what happens in his solo series. Although older stuff, from Claremont era X-men, I like pretty well.

I'm not hot on Apocalypse taking so much center stage, so I was disappointed that this week we again didn't get an X-men story, we got a Wolverine story. Buuuuut...

The story appeared to be also centered on Morph. They haven't gotten much development so far, their main character traits are The Funny Guy and Crush On Logan lol. I'm more familiar with Morph from Exiles than TAS, so I was looking forward to finding out if there was more to them.

What I like about this episode was it was exciting. At first it made me think of that ep of The Mandalorian where Din teams up with a bunch of old crooked comrades/rivals/enemies/whatever. That ep was def cooler than this one though. But conceptually I did like it and I liked the horror vibe going on, even if it was pretty obvious right away from the green goo that this ep involved The Brood.

Maybe because I'm not so familiar with TAS Morph, I was curious how they would behave. I thought they might get confused or manipulated by the other characters. But in the end, they were totally loyal to Logan, even at risk to themself. They've got it baaaad hehehe. But that also tells me something about Morph, not exactly a new something, but something... I liked them saying "If you're asking you don't need me to tell you" or whatever to Logan's question.

So on the whole I liked Morph in this episode. I'm not super hot on the other characters. Sabretooth... ok. Just not really what I'd expect of a reunion with him and Logan but sure. I was shocked that Graydon Creed got a mention. Obvs he was a thorn in their side in TAS but still. Blast from the past.

Omega Red was pointless. He talks a big game then gets KO'd by Logan in seconds. Not because Logan can KO him in seconds, but because the episode had no more time for a proper fight. So far no fights I'd say were really cool this season. I don't count Jubilee's escape from X-factor as a fight. But that WAS very cool.

As for Logan: stupid. His adamantium got stripped away last season, by Magneto himself, who we just watched die oh so dramatically. And now, Logan conveniently has adamantium again. I will say: At least they didn't throw this away completely. We got to see a glimpse into Logan - he's a guy who will rage about the experiments he's been through, then do the same experiment on himself. And lie for it too. So this wasn't a total waste, I hope it leads to something for Logan's character in the future.

That being said, when Logan is adamantium-less in the comics it's a much bigger deal. And I wouldn't expect the same ramifications in this show, the show simply doesn't have the time. I don't mind remixing the old stories - I enjoyed the show's version of Ororo's depowering, even if it didn't have the same impact as the comics version. But I don't think this was even as good as Ororo got. It almost felt like the creative team regretted getting rid of Logan's adamantium so they manufactured a way for him to get it back as fast as possible. Probably would have happened in ep 1 if he hadn't been stuck in the future at the time lol.

But there is hope for character development at some point as a result of this. So yeah.

As for Morph: Kudos for morphing into actually useful characters this time. I still hate shapeshifting bc it's like a constant jumpscare. "What, Deadpool's here, since when? oh it's Morph" Also their impersonation of Scott was hilarious. They're understandably upset when Logan stabs them, and it's painful to see them morph into Jean in order to snap Logan out of it. Seeing Morph in pain doesn't do it, but Jean in pain does. And Morph's little speech to Logan at the end, well, Logan deserved it. I have no idea what's in store for Morph, they're a totally curveball character for me, but I like them.

... And I have to say. Of course I like them. Because they remind me of someone else. NIGHTCRAWLER, duh. I see Morph and Logan tussling and trashing each other and think that was Logan and Kurt's thing. Flying Logan around places he needs to go is also often a Kurt thing. As is philosophizing at him. Or occasionally chewing him out (but everyone does that).

Of course I wish it was Logan and Kurt. Sorry, Morph, it's not personal. And nothing to fear either: In TAS Morph and Logan have an established friendship, it is known, there is no room for Logan's Original Beer Buddy. I won't get to see my fav X-men friendship in this show. The juggling is so ehhhh - it's like Gambit's dead so that Nightcrawler can be shoehorned in as Rogue's buddy, since he can't be Wolverine's, and when Gambit comes back I do wonder what role there will be to Nightcrawler. Priest I guess. hurray

It seems bonkers that Logan and Kurt are a popular friendship yet they've never been portrayed the way they are in the comics in TV or movies. The closest was Wolverine and X-men, where they tried, sorta, but that show was too poorly written, too uninterested in relationships that were not romances, and too canceled.

Anyway Morph was pretty great this episode, the rest was fairly mediocre, BUT I still had fun. I just wish it had been less basic - half the fun was imagining where this might be going, only to realize "duh, the most obvious place."

You know what amuses me... Back in the days when I got Bleach netabare raw from Japanese text-only web forums, Bleach was being derided as "for girls" (despite being shonen) because "the male characters are hot." They don't have Looney Tunes One Pieces faces, so girls are more interested, therefore Bleach is "for girls." Meanwhile Orihime's clothes are falling off everywhere, Yoruichi's relationship with Urahara becomes more and more WTF as the series goes on, and there were those crazy panty shots of one of the Quincy girls, can't remember which one... And on and on and on. I remember being floored that some people thought those up-skirt shots were apparently for the FEMALE fans, since according to them we were the only ones actually reading Bleach

Like the best spin on Bleach fan service you can get is that it tries to make everyone horny all the time. bahaha

like I have an aunt who spells my name wrong and growing up I was told she just gets confused because I was named after my grandfather whose name was spelled more like the version that mine isn't. but after a few decades you'd think she'd figure it out

now I'm watching a youtube series where one of the characters has my same name and in the auto-subtitles it's spelled the same way mine is. but in the comments a lot of people still spell it the other way. to be fair the subtitles have got to be AI-generated, but the titles and descriptions also spell her name like mine...

so you get commenters talking with each other like "sarah with an h sure was funny this episode" "yah sara with no h is always a hoot" "give us more sarah with an h" and i'm like you know what............. relatable

on the whole i still feel the same though. poking around some x-forums seems other people felt similarly to me: ep 2 was great, ep 1 was pretty good (and I didn't give Scott and Jean enough credit in my first post), ep 3 left the most to be desired.

I was assuming a lackluster outcome more based on many comic book disappointments in similar circumstances lol. I liked season 1 of this show enough that I felt I should have a little faith in it.

That being saaaaaaid... Ep 4 mostly matches what my expectations were following ep 3, so... that's unfortunate. But on the bright side, it's not a bad episode, some of it was pretty good, and it possibly sets up some interesting stuff for certain characters. Possibly. We'll see.
