just been having a literal steamliner of personal issues lately that make getting into character impossible

Trisha was walking idly by… when she saw the young man trip on a rock and fall. Hard. She rushed to his side without a second thought to help him up.

“Oh dear… that wound… well, maybe we should get you to a doctor… Do you think you can stand on your own?”

[Kaiji hardly had time to notice the woman now approaching him, only turning to look when he detected the faint sound of fabric rustling in the breeze. Her appearance surprised her- just a decently normal-looking woman, by all accounts. Caught off guard by her comforting aura, he hesitated to answer her questions.]

Uh...stand? ...I'm not sure, m'am, but I can try...

[Pushing himself off the dirt with his hands, he balanced himself as well as he could on his good leg as he teetered back and forth haphazardly. It was difficult to keep himself upright like this, but he managed to stabilize himself by holding his arms out- it's not like this was the first time he had to concentrate this hard on balancing in a precarious situation.]

Ughh...uh, kinda...I guess....I'm not sure if I could walk anywhere, but...yeah, I can stand...

Luckily (or unluckily depending on the opinion) Medusa had been strolling the grounds in an attempt to better acquaint herself with the area. Hands casually inserted themselves into the pockets of her lab coat when she heard a gruff yelp of pain. Like a predator drawn to it’s prey, she found herself attracted by the call and followed it, blinking in surprise when she found a man that she had not seen before. 

“Oh my, you’re bleeding.” Walking over to the other, she held out her hand. “You shouldn’t let the wound fester. The longer you wait, the more apt it will be to infection.” She offered the male a gentle smile. “If you’d like, I can take care of it.” 

[Caught up in the moment of trying to figure out what to do with his newfound injury, he hardly noticed her presence until she was glowering over him. After taking a moment to mull over the woman's strange choice of words, he frowned at her suspiciously, staring at her hand as if her touch were more likely to infect him than anything else. There was something not right about her, and he could feel it.]

...That's a-an awfully strange way to put it, lady. No shit it would get infected. I'm not THAT stupid.

B-but I suppose if you, uh...think you could...

...What are you gonna DO to it?

My friend refuses to watch Kaiji with me because of the noses. But come on man, come onnn, Kaiji is so moe.

“Nice to meet you as well.” [Roy thought to himself, maybe he knows how to get out of here, it’s worth a shot..] “so, Kaiji, do you have any idea of how to get out of here?

Uhh.....no, sir. I don't. We've all been trying to think of a way to escape for months, and nothing so far has worked. Sometimes people come and go at random. We....still haven't found a reason why that happens, though.

[He looks away nervously, reminded of how suddenly Katyusha left. He still hasn't really gotten over it, although he has somewhat come to terms with it.]

...Why, do you think you'd be able to get us all out of here? I wouldn't count on it. Seems pretty hopeless, if you ask me...not that I want to leave in the first place. This place is way nicer than the shithole I lived in.
