Important note from a future nurse: if you are chronically ill, on a lot of medications, even managing conditions on your own, buy a drug guide. Davis's Drug Guide is what they had us buy for nursing school, and I've looked up every single medication I take in it. It helps you understand what the drug is doing to you, helps you understand side effects, reasons why you shouldn't take a medication, things to monitor for while you're taking a medication. It's not perfect by any means, but the thing I've found is that it's helped me guide conversations with providers, nurses, pharmacists, it's helped me figure out what questions to ask. When I've heard people talk about what they didnt know about their meds, what they wish they knew about their meds, it's often in a drug guide.

Out of everything I've learned in nursing school, it is the biggest thing I'd advocate for having in any home, period.

Welcome, Shrieks, to my artblr. Shrieks is going to get her own episode at some point, which is exciting for me coz it's like free therapy.

She's very much self-indulgent (lesbian, transfem, possibly) not only coz I love the art I've already made of her (see above and below) but because I think she's going to be an interesting character to work with.

progress!

I'm working on making small one off comics of MIAD characters (namely Dizzy, Miim, and Sours (my (eventual) 3 MCs)) and for the time being, I'm getting them to interact!

I'm making a series of 5 or 6 images (likely the latter) to act as a cycle of images for my desktop background.

I'll post the colored version of those ^^^ tomorrow.

Also!!!! I made my handwriting into a font :-) which is exciting and really makes me feel professional!

I'm very happy with Miim's design overall, though I anticipate that there will be changes made. For example: the colors! Miim is friend shaped, but she's not colored to my liking. So I'll be working on that more when I wake up.
