Crafty Creatures

This is Mishmash. despite being very friendly and a great listener he tends to be easily confused and a bit forgetful- the other monsters tend to think he's not very well put together. Mishmash thinks that this is nonsense! He has all his stitches in the right place and gets by just fine on his own thank you very much! Although... he wonders if you know where he was headed before this conversation... and where he left his handbag...

Fuzzbits Fitzherbert is an excellent shamisen player. He discovered his talent late one night after work while he was having a few drinks at the local sushi place- one of his friends had dared him to try the instrument out after discovering that the protrusions on his head were prehensile. The rest, as they say is history. Fuzzbits was hired by the sushi restaurant on the spot and now in the evenings he can be found performing his shamisen  beautifully and eating all the free sushi he can handle. Its a good life. 

Catico is calico, and a cat. He was created in an underground laboratory by the greatest scientific minds of the internet looking to create the perfect life form to make them 'totes famous internet guys'. Catico can play the keyboard, he can fit his head in bread and limes, he can make a really grumpy face, his meows sound like 'I love you', and he even has a little collar and a tie for doing his tax returns. Truly the internet scientists thought they were a single video or white-text meme away from 'totally hot internet girlfriends' but they had overlooked one crucial element. Catico is extremely camera shy.

Bugsby comes from a long and illustrious line of flying monsters, and like the others of his clan he has very poor eyesight. Unlike his family, who confines themselves to the ground because of their fear of flying blind, Bugsby has learned to use sonar to "see" his way in the sky. Not using his voice, (because Bugsby has no illusions about his singing) but using one of his many colorful kazoos. 

New Mini Monsters Series! :D

Frost is Spark's older brother. He's calm, cool, collected and prefers to listen to NPR in his car and classical music in his armchair at home while curled up with a good book. He is a professor of literature and is a huge fan of post modernism in writing and turn of the century poetry. While he and his brother don't agree on anything, (they're like oil and water) they still have a deep brotherly love and would be there for each other in in any time of need. 

Jules Verne meets The Nautilus

Jules Verne is hanging out at the WSU Cub gallery this month!

Hülda is one of the sweetest and kindest monsters you will ever meet. She is constantly thinking of others and always remembers everyone's birthday. She has always wanted to be a famous Opera singer and has been training for years towards this goal. Its really too bad that she can't carry a tune in a bucket.

Jules Verne began life as two different scarves and a sock- and look at him now! Despite his humble beginnings Jules is determined to make something great of himself- to be a famous household name! To have people recognize him on the street! I believe in him, don't you? :)

...Jerry is secretly saving his money from body builder competitions to fund Terry's bakery dream. What a great brother :)

Shhhh! This mini monster is deep in meditation: he is directing his awareness inward until pure enlightenment is achieved. He truly wishes to experience "being awake inside without being aware of anything except awareness itself". 

Francis always had one fond dream, to be a world class, globetrotting, professional dentist. Coming from humble backgrounds he knew this would be difficult, But after years of working hard to put himself through undergraduate, and then participating in some less than savory endeavors to pay for dental school he finally was able to scrounge up enough funds to open a practice. He has never been happier. 

Would this be cool with everybody?

Bonnibel is a flower child of the universe. She believes in peace and love and gardening. In fact, her garden is the most impressive in the neighborhood and continuously wins yearly competitions- sometimes she will even joke that she has a green claw! (Others joke that she likes flowers so much because her head looks so much like one...)

Its true. Sometimes life comes at you like a megaton crushing machine, and sometimes you can’t get out of the way. I just look to Melder Frankley’s example and remember that when life gives you lemons, be psychic.
