While it looks venerable, the cathedral for Madrid was begun in 1883 and completed in 1993. It is in a mix of styles which, in my estimation, do not work well together.
ok ok why did i open fb messenger to reply to a friend only to see a recent msg from my abusive friend from uni. saying hey hope i'm well but i came up in her recommended and she's wondering why did i mistreat her that way, i hope u don't treat other vulnerable people that way etc?!
i don't claim to be perfect but i don't even know what she's talking about. something about letting her window get attacked??? idk how that would have anything to do with me or be my fault/responsibility. kind of infuriating seeing that bc the few months of our friendship traumatised me for years and left deep wounds. but in her mind i'm still the villain 😭 despite me always trying to anticipate/accommodate her needs, and her actively refusing to care for mine.
am tempted to reply so she can understand my side of it better, but at the same time... this was like 10 years ago, and i don't really care to get involved at all with this person again, and talking to her won't change what happened. and given what she's messaged me and what i rmb about her, i seriously doubt she will see how badly she hurt me and how her approach with me as a friend was deeply uncompassionate.
