       HER HEART HAMMERS against her ribs. she’s too scared to look at him as she shrinks further into her place of refuge & his apology does plant into her head, but it’s not enough to make her feel safe. why was he apologizing ?? he killed her. clearly he WASN’T sorry, so she wouldn’t budge from her spot behind foxy, & remains still as possible. a whimper escapes her lips & she feverishly shakes her head from side to side as he creeps closer. she didn’t trust him. she can’t. he’ll hurt her again.

         HER BODY FREEZES when he places a hand on her back. no one’s touched her in years. the last one to do so was her murderer & past memories come back in full force; his dark grin, the glimmer of his knife, the slice of her throat as he muffles her screams against a sweaty palm. she doesn’t want to remember, so she pushes isidro back & shrinks under his towering form, misinterpreting his friendly action as a bad one.

「♡」 HE DIDN’T LIKE IT. That sly little smile that s t r e t c h e d itself across the girl’s face DISTURBED him. It was TERRIBLE that at such a y o u n g age, he was learning to recognize how the curves of lips could mean so m a n y things; that very knowledge instilled by a life of ( B U L L Y I N G ). There were NOTHING but bad feelings about this girl, this diner, EVERYTHING around him. All that kept him standing was a desire; the will to believe that maybe just ONE person might be nice to him. Was that FOOLISHNESS ? Probably.  「♡」

HER TONE WAS flat. Wasn’t this kid the outcast ?? The one nobody liked to play with because he’s so weird ?? There DEFINITELY was something off about him, but her young mind couldn’t comprehend what it was exactly. 

      Maybe I should just walk away .. 

Her conscience then prickled & a GUILTY feeling washed over her. Play with him. What if he doesn’t want to, though ?? It’s worth a shot. The same smile wicked smile painted her face again & she stepped closer.
