         TRESPASSING --------- what a discouraging word. As if it was wrong of her to check out the infamous pizzeria, wrong of her to ignore the padlock on the fence she’s currently jumping. wrong of her to have some natural human curiosity.

         Booted feet land softly on the grass, black tuque pulled carefully over her ears.  They say an animatronic ATE a kid here : & though she was sure that was just a rumour, she wasn’t passing up the opportunity to check it out for herself.

       Chell is one of those rare people who has a lot of memories from her young childhood. A weird side effect of stasis is that it messes with your short term memory, which means her memories of her pre aperture life were never buried beneath a multitude of new memories.

       In fact, the only things she remembers clearly,   (  & with 100% certainty )   after being put in stasis for the first time, are the events of the games – everything else is a bit of a blur. She can vaguely recall wandering the facility from time to time, & some physics lessons, but thats really about it.
