Since you asked for Lohen x reader, how about this?
Lohen seems like the kind of guy who would be into parkour, like the extreme kind. So, he decided to take you with him (to a place that may or may not be very dangerous) to impress you with his skills, because he loves you very much and wants to show you how strong and badass he is. He even tries to convince you to try out some of his moves. Despite feeling nervous about it, you decide to try, only to end up in a dangerous predicament. Thankfully, Lohen was able to save you before things could turn fatal. You cling onto him out of fear from the incident, and he quickly comforts you. (Bonus points if he princess carries you home).
Sorry if it’s a little too specific, this is based off of a dream I had.

As late morning turned to early afternoon, your date with Lohen crept closer and closer. He had eagerly suggested you both go to some of the tall rock structures right outside the city and show each other the cool acrobatics you used when fighting monsters.
“Teaching each other new ways to slaughter monsters? I couldn’t think of anything more romantic.” He had told you, a stupidly charming grin on his face.
So you agreed, you had cool moves you could show off, totally.
“Ooo, ooo, and I can show you this one where I flip in the air and-“ Lohen had began to describe excitedly before cutting himself off
“I’ll stop there, it’s better to wait so you can see for yourself.” He finished his thought with a smirk.
“I trust the Vice Captain of the Fifth Company for the Knights of Favonius has many more elaborate acrobatic tricks than a common adventurer.” You stated with a nervous laugh
“Ah ah ah, don’t sell yourself short! I’ve seen you fight before. I’m sure you’ve got a few tricks up your sleeve.” He encouraged you with an energetic lift to his voice
You in fact had not a single trick up your sleeve, but he didn’t need to know that. You and the Vice Captain had only just begun seeing each other and you didn’t want him to think you were boring. You admired his eagerness for battle but you also were scared he may grow tired from your lack of….battle prowess.
Truth be told, you were a pretty mediocre vision user. Honestly, you were surprised Lohen had even taken an interest in you to begin with. You had considered it was because he enjoyed a sparring partner that could put up a fight but eventually ended up at his mercy.
That was probably it, he did love the feeling of a training match well won. You never complained, his smirk of victory was a reward you liked much more than winning. Besides, it always ended with his face inches from your’s, just waiting for you to lean in and kiss that stupid smirk off of his face.
Although, it wouldn’t be too long before he longed for something more adrenaline inducing, right? If you knew anything about Lohen, it was that he loved to mix things up constantly. He would eventually grow tired of beating you at sparring after 100 or more different victories, then what?
If you didn’t toughen up quick, Lohen would certainly leave you behind for a more skilled warrior. So, you agreed to his idea of a super romantic date, despite the nervous curl in your stomach. If you could keep him on his toes, believing you had more skill than you actually did, then maybe he would stay?
Well, he would at least stay longer than if you just acted like yourself.
But when the day came for your date, you were no better at acrobatics than when he had asked you a week ago. Not from lack of trying though, you could still hear Kaeya’s smug laugh as he tried to teach you a simple forward roll.
“Katheryn please, there must be something you can give me.” You begged the lady behind her stand
“No, we thankfully are all out of commissions.” She re-stated for what felt like the hundredth time
You worked for the Adventurers Guild in Mondstadt as of right now. Taking care of messily commissions that glory-seeking fighters and knights had no interest in. Occasionally, you would get a difficult one since you were a vision holder. It was always a monster the guild didn’t have a lot of intel on or a new ruin mechanism roaming around.
However, on the day that you needed to be overwhelmed with work, there was nothing. Not a single slime terrorizing gardens or hilluchurl digging into food storage.
You had asked Katheryn if she could tell Lohen you were busy with a load of commissions when he inevitably came to her looking for you. However, she seemed to not be the most skilled at not telling the truth.
“I’m sorry, lying is not a skill I possess.” She apologized sincerely
“It’s okay.” You sighed, “have a nice day Katheryn.”
Walking off, you decided to go with plan B, going to ask Jean if she wanted any help with paperwork.
Imagine your face when you knocked on the acting grandmaster’s door, only to hear silence.
“Jean?” You called out hesitantly
“Acting Grandmaster Jean is out for the rest of that day!” Amber informed you cheerily, descending the stairs from the upper floor of the Knights of Favonius headquarters.
“Jean? Taking an afternoon off? I didn’t take you for a liar Amber.” You joked with her
“I’m not! I swear!” She insisted with a bright smile, “she went out with Lisa.”
“On a date?” You asked eagerly
“Yes!” Amber cheered, leaning in to whisper the details she knew like two kids share secrets. “I heard they were going to lunch, then sightseeing at Starsnatch Cliff.”
“Finally!” You exclaimed, feeling happy Jean had finally taken the librarian up on her request
“I know! I’ve been waiting for them to go on a date for ages.” Amber agreed, coming to stand beside you
“Well, any chance you have any work for me, oh great outrider?” You inquired with dramatic flare.
“Haha, not today, no!” Amber responded, “besides, you’re busy today if I remember correctly.”
“I didn’t realize intelligence gathering was in your job description, Amber.” You poked fun at her
“Oh don’t be silly, it wasn’t hard to find out you had a date planned with Vice Captain Lohen. He was bragging about it with Kaeya in the foyer today.” She told you, giving you a cheery wink
Your mouth went dry from nerves.
“He was….he was what?” You laughed nervously
“Yeah, he was going on and on about this awesome date he had with his amazing partner. He seemed really excited to see your “monster killing tactics”.” She explained
“Oh….yeah…” You responded, your face heating up at the idea of such enthusiastic praise from Lohen
“You seem embarrassed.” Amber pointed out bluntly
“Not embarrassed…just…” You started your explanation
“Wait……. is “monster killing tactics” code for something else?” Amber teased, giving you a smirk
“No, no, no.” You quickly assured her
“Whatever you say….you know you can tell me anything….” She continued
“Wow! Look at the time! I’ve got to meet Lohen soon. See you later Amber!” You quickly ended the conversation, running off.
Truth be told, you had about an hours to kill before you had to meet Lohen, but you would rather wander around with a nervous feeling bubbling in your stomach than listen to Amber try and find innuendos where there were none.
In you spare time you went over to the training grounds to try and find some last minute acrobatics to bullshit. Your plan crumbled to bits when you saw grandmaster Varka sparring with Noelle. You couldn’t embarrass yourself with those two around.
Instead, you watched them train for awhile. It put a warm sensation in your heart to observe Varka act like a fatherly figure to the kind-hearted knight in training. He assured her she’d ace her exams next week.
“Really Noelle, you’re doing great! Even starting to give me a run for my money.” He laughed heartily, clapping her on the shoulder
“Grandmaster you don’t have to lie to me, I know I have a lot of room for improvement.” She said earnestly
“We all have room for improvement Noelle! Remember, practice makes progress.” He imparted his wisdom with a caring gaze
“You’re right…..I just wish I could be ready for anything! Just like you.” She confessed with a sigh
“Well….I’m sure I could get Lohen out here. Sparring with that youngster will certainly get you ready for the unpredictable.” He offered with a laugh
“Ahaha, uhm…..I’m okay…” she laughed nervously, declining his offer
“I get it, he’s not for everyone. You know, it still amazes me he was able to get a date with one of the adventurers guild members.” Varka whisper-spoke to Noelle, although it wasn’t very quiet considering you could hear it.
“Sometimes I watch other knights soar to try and gain tips.” Noelle began to explain, “and every time him and his partner he always ends up winning one way or another. Instead of being angry about the defeat though, they always just seem so lovestruck.”
“To be honest with you, that’s exactly what Lohen needs, someone who’s willing to admire him for his antics.” Varka replied
“I couldn’t agree more.” Noelle replied, “Plus, it keeps him from setting traps for the other trainee knights and I.”
They walked away laughing with each other and you felt a smile creeping onto your face. Sure, it was unhealthy to seek validation in others about your relationship but hearing them say you were good for Lohen made you smile nonetheless. You just hoped he shared the same sentiment.
You heard the bells of the chapel ring, indicating it was five in the evening. Which, meant you needed to meet Lohen by the city gates. Your stomach stared to curl with nerves again, but you ignored it as you rushed through the city.
As you approached, Lohen was standing by the city gates, leaning against the stone wall effortlessly. He was twirling his dagger in his gloved hand, the silver blade reflecting the early evening sun.
Truth be told, you could have stood there for ages and watched him. What with how effortlessly his gloved fingers moved the blade. The way his eyes weren’t even laser focused on his tricks either, but rather casually staring off into the partly cloudy sky.
“You don’t have to hide behind a pillar to stare at me angel.” He said, turning his head to you.
“I wasn’t….okay, I was staring.” You admitted, walking towards him
“I don’t blame you, I’m quite skilled in preforming tricks with my dagger.” He bragged, giving it a final spin before placing it away in one of his pockets.
“Wow, so humble.” You praised sarcastically
“I know, it’s one of my many wonderful attributes.” He said smugly, bumping shoulders playfully with you.
“Don’t get too overconfident…” You playfully warned
“Or what?” He asked, turning to face you
“Or….I’ll…” You began to speak, but as you tried to come up with something that sounded vaguely threatening, his face only grew closer to your’s.
Your noses were practically touching, your brain scrambling to come up with a clever and flirtatious way to end your statement.
“Aw, your first time threatening a Vice Captain?” He challenges, looking at you with pity
“No….you just….you’re really close to my face right now!” You blurted out
“Say the word sweetheart…..and I’ll move.” He declares, a haughty smirk on his face
You can’t decide whether you want to punch him or kiss him, or both. He’d probably like it more if you did both.
“Are you enjoying yourself?” You asked in a slightly exasperated voice
“Very much so.” He confessed quietly
He leaned in slowly, his lips hovering over your’s, and you felt your heartbeat begin to pick up its pace. Closing your eyes, your stomach began to churn with something that wasn’t nervousness—but instead— anticipation.
You didn’t realize you too had been leaning in, anticipating a kiss, until he yanked his face away, and you feel forward into him.
His laughter rang out as he lightly held you, helping you balance yourself again.
“Hey! What was that for?” You questioned in an aggravated voice
“For getting me all worked up, only to leave the threat unfinished.” He answered with a smile, as if it was the most obvious justification in Teyvat.
Leaning down, his lips barely touching your ear, he spoke in a low voice.
“Finish the threat, and we can pick up where I left off.”
Your face was scorching with heat, the cause a mixture of attraction and aggravation. Normally, this kind of encounter would have made you spiral with doubt about his want to stay with you, but not this time. You were about to punch him in the shoulder when you heard a familiar voice call out to you.
“Hey! Funny running into you again!” Amber greeted, walking up to you and Lohen with Eula not far behind her.
“Oh, hi Amber! And Eula!” You greeted cheerfully, turning to face them.
“Hello, and hello to you as well Vice Captain.” Eula addressed you both with her usual cold formalities.
“I was just tagging along with Eula to practice dancing! She’s been promising to teach me how to waltz.” Amber explained, her eyes bright with excitement.
“Aww, that sounds so sweet!” You replied with a smile.
“Not as thrilling as what I’ve heard you and the Lohen will be getting up to.” Eula commented
“I promised I’d show them some of my epic moves.” Lohen explained proudly, “plus, they even agreed to demonstrate a few of their cool tricks.”
“Well, I hope you two have fun showing each other your “monster killing tactics”.” Eula remarks
Your brain recalled the similar phrasing from the earlier conversation you shared with Amber. Oh archons, there was no telling what she had blabbed to Eula about.
“We will, you two have a wonderful time waltzing away.” Lohen replied with a polite smile.
“Alright, well you take care of them Vice Captain! Be safe, and try to stay in a secluded area for the sake of others.” Amber comments with an exaggerated wink, before bidding you both farewell.
You gave a deep sigh, gently squeezing the top of your nosedive with two fingers. You would never understand how the outrider’s mind worked but you loved her nonetheless.
“What mischief does the outride think we’re getting up to this time?” Lohen asks sincerely, beginning to walk with you towards the rock structures near the outside of the city.
“Well, she thinks showing off “acrobatics” and “monster killing tactics” is somehow code for sex”. You explained, rolling your eyes with amusement.
Lohen let out a genuine laugh before turning to you with a smirk, leaning in.
“Well, I wouldn’t be opposed….”
“You wanted to show me your cool flips and tricks, we’re doing that.” You insisted, ignoring the small part of your brain that wondered what would happen if you gave into his teasing.
“Alright, alright, I hear you.” He laughed, taking your hand in his as you both grew closer to your destination.
“You know, the knight’s actually call it “parkour” instead of acrobatics.” He informed you with excitement.
“An….interesting name…” You pondered
As you reached the rock clusters, Lohen immediately let go of your hand and climbed one of the taller rocks.
“This one has taken out many Hillichurl shooters.” He brags, readying himself for the stunt.
You watch as the Vice Captain runs a few paces before throwing his dagger while simultaneously propelling himself into a flip. He lands perfectly, catching his dagger as it falls.
“Normally I’d be yanking it out of a dying enemy.” He explains with joy as he lets out a relieved breath.
“Wow, impressive.” You praise him, a genuine look of second your face.
“Oo, you should see this one!” He insists with childlike joy
He climbs the larger rock again, though this time he paces forward towards you. It all happens so fast, him jumping off of the rock, twisting in the air as he pulls his polesrm free. Before you know it he has the tip of the spear point directly at your heart.
“This is where I’d stab the monster’s heart out and claim it as a trophy.” He tells you, breathing heavily from the physical exertion
“I appreciate you for keeping mine out of your collection.” You joke with a smile
“I’ll have it someday, and it’ll be my prized possession.” He tells you with a giddy smile
Your eyes flash with a scared look for a moment, your brain conjuring up a terrifying image of him stabbing you in the dead of night.
“No, no, I meant that metaphorically.” He assured you
You breathed a sigh of relief, laughing a bit at the odd encounter.
“I think it’s time you show me some of your moves.” He suggests, anticipation prevalent in his voice.
“Oh…yeah! I’ve got a really awesome one planned.” You assure him, moving to climb up the rock.
You really hoped he didn’t notice the wavering in your voice, or the hesitance in your movements. You had almost mastered a forward roll when training with Kaeya, how hard would it be to do one of those while descending off of this tall rock structure?
It was amazing how easily you gaslit yourself into believing you could do a front flip off of this rock. All in the name of impressing the stupid Vice Captain. You readied yourself, and began to pace forward to gain momentum.
It would have been awesome if you could have done your flip, or even attempted it. Although, clearly the Archons had other plans for you. Before you could even make it off of the rock, a piece of the edge crumpled off, causing you to lose your balance.
You tried to spin around in the commotion to possibly grab onto the newly formed edge of the rock. All that did was leave your ankle screaming in pain and you now falling backwards off of the structure.
You closed your eyes and prayed that Barbatos would let the wind carry you away. Your teeth were grit in preparation for the hard feeling of Mondstadt’s ground against your back.
Archons, Lohen was certain to leave you after this! The Vice Captain of the Fifth Company couldn’t have a partner so inept in acrobatics…GAH, you couldn’t even remember the stupid name it was called.
You could see the scene play it behind your eyes shut tight in the milliseconds you fell.
He would let you down easy while running that bright green healing potion on his dagger. Telling you he loved your company, but just wanted someone that could keep up with him better.
You felt yourself gasp when a pair of arms caught you. Your eyes were still glued shut and your brain was a mess of fear and scenarios of Lohen breaking things off with you. There was no room for you to process that you had been caught.
“Hey, hey, breathe, I’ve got you.” Lohen’s familiar voice rang in your ears, his tone soft.
You opened your eyes slowly, attempting to slow your breathing.
“As heart-stopping as you are, I don’t think the enemy would catch you. So, maybe don’t try that one in battle.” He teased, looking down at you with a lighthearted smile.
You let out a small nervous laugh, becoming acutely aware of how you were pressed against the knight’s chest. You could hear his heart beating, and it was beating fast. This close to him, you smelled a faint scent of spearmint on his clothing. It made you want to nuzzle your face in closer.
“I can’t do acrobatics, shit, I mean, parkour.” You blurt out quickly, your face twisted in nerves.
“So you were stringing me along in believing you had some amazing tricks up your sleeve?” He promoted you, his tone unreadable much like his facial expression.
“Yes, yes, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have lied.” You confessed, your face contorted in guilt.
Before he even got a chance to say something else, a confession came spilling out of you.
“I just didn’t want you to think I wasn’t incapable of keeping up with you. You know, you always win when we spar and I know that has to get boring for you. I thought if I didn’t have any cool battle tricks you may realize how bland of a fighter I am and end up breaking things off. You’re the Vice Captain after all and you like to stay on your toes. I didn’t want you-“ He cut your nervous blabbering off with a hearty laugh.
“You think you don’t keep me on my toes?” He asked with a small laugh, “i just had to catch you after you were about to attempt a trick you were clearly way out of your depth to preform; yet you convinced yourself otherwise.”
“Heh, I guess if you put it like that…” You responded, casting your gaze downward in embarrassment at your now clearly irrational thought process.
He gives you a rare comforting smile, before beginning to let you balance on your own two feet.
When you attempt to stand, your twisted ankle folds under your weight, causing you to fall back onto Lohen.
He caught you with two gloved hands, steadying your figure.
“Ooph, looks like someone isn’t walking home.” He comments playfully
You let out a defeated sigh, wondering how in Teyvat you were going to make it back to your place with an injured ankle.
You felt Lohen move to pick you up. One arm snaking around to support your back, while the other rested through the crook of your legs. You were pressed firmly against him again, and that began to make your head spin.
“Lohen, you can’t possibly carry me all the way-“ You began to lecture him before he cut you off.
“Ahdadada, don’t go doubting me. I’ve carried Mitachurl carcasses longer distances.” He insists, swatting away your worries as he begins to walk
You both fall into a comfortable silence as he walks the short distance back to the city. Truthfully, you never wanted this to end, what with the butterflies whizzing around your stomach as he held you. It was a scene straight out of a romantic Yae Publishing House novel.
“You’ll need to ice your ankle when you get home.” He instructed you
“I’m sure a certain cryo vision holder could help me with that.” You replied with a smile
He let out a soft laugh before agreeing.
“You still owe me a kiss too.” You added as he neared your home.
“Ah, nice try angel, but you still owe me a properly finished threat.” He responded with a smirk.
“I swear to Barbatos himself…” You start with an exasperated tone
You notice Lohen start moving his face closer to your’s. A move that somehow, every time, makes you scramble.
“Don’t leave the archon himself waiting…” He says a low voice with raised brows and an annoyingly attractive smirk.
You let out a deep sigh, then look up to the evening sky.
“May he forgive me for my sinful thoughts.” You say in an exasperated voice
“Oh? Thinking about showing me some of your monster killing tactics when I get you home?” Lohen prompts you, his smirk turning into a teasing one and his eyes beginning to shimmer with mischief.
“I’m thinking about punching you in the gut and crawling the rest of my way home.” You threatened bluntly.
“He leaned in again, his nose touching your’s as he spoke.
“Even better.”
You felt his lips meet your’s and you eagerly accepted into the kiss. You both leaned into the moment, you pulled away for a breath before he placed his lips onto yours again. You both exchanged kisses, each one becoming more heated than the last. Your cheeks were blazing with heat and you felt your breathing become heavy. Not to mention the butterflies that had previously been in your stomach felt like they were on fire and begging you to continue.
You hoped your neighbors wouldn’t question the Vice Captain of the Fifth Company holding you on your doorstep, or the fact you were making out with him.
Archons, you’d never hear the end of this from Amber.
