thinking about the short story An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge a lot lately. Not quite sure why since I haven't read it since probably 8th grade. But it stuck vividly in my brain from the first time, to this day I know parts of it word for word.

okay okay I'm not saying you need to have a fucking PhD in horror or anything but to claim to be a "huge" fan of the genre and then blatantly state that you think horror fans who champion a film you find bad are all dumb sheep who "indiscriminately embrace literally every genre movie they watch" is absolutely insane. also to hate a horror film so much you don't want to watch any more of the genre.....bro what? This comes from a person who "has cinephilia". okay rant over sorry my beloveds. <3
