I want to get to know everyone in the fandom a little better, and I figured this would be fun, so I present to everyone: Stitchers family week! Each day there will be some sort of prompt or challenge for people to answer in any way they want. Tag it with #StitcherFamilyWeek (as well as all the others tags we’re using right now, like #RenewStitchersS3) and that way everyone can get to know everyone else a little better. 

This will run from June 20th to June 26th, but it’s totally okay for people to post later and/or earlier if they can’t do it that week! (or if you forget it’s happening, like I most likely will.) 

Day 1 (June 20th): Introduce yourselves! 

Post a selfie and talk a little bit about yourself; what’s your name? What country do you live in? Are you in school or do you work, or both? Pretty much talk about anything and everything you think is relevant or want people to know. 

I do know that some people are more hesitant about the selfie part which is completely okay. If you’re not feeling up to it then post something else, like a photo of your room, or maybe artwork you’ve drawn, or anything that you strongly connect with. It honestly doesn’t matter as long as you’re having fun!

Day 2 (June 21st): What do you do for fun? 

And yes, I mean what do you do for fun besides watch Stitchers. Do you have any hobbies? Sports? Do you draw or write or dance? I highly encourage photos of stuff you do if you want to add those, like if you have pictures of your artwork.

Day 3 (June 22nd): What’s a normal day like for you? 

Since I am genuinely the nosiest human on the planet, this is my favorite question. What’s dull, everyday life like for you?  Are you an early riser or do you spend hours in bed? Do you have school? Work? What days are your favorite kinds of days? Anything goes for this day, honestly, and creative answers are very much encouraged. 

Day 4 (June 23rd): What’s your very favorite memory? 

This one’s also very subjective in the terms of how you answer, and what you answer with. This could be anything, from your first beach day to the one birthday you got a puppy. 

Day 5 (June 24th): What were some of your first fandom experiences like? 

This is something I love asking. What TV shows first drew you into fandoms? Did you ever write any embarrassingly bad fic or try your hand at fanart? What were the bad and good parts about other fandoms you’ve been a part of? 

Day 6 (June 25th): What are some of the best things that’ve happened to you since you joined the Stitchers fandom? 

This may be the only question at all relevant to the show. Oops? But yes, talk about everything amazing that’s happened since joining this incredible fandom. Have you made new friends? Discovered a talent for neuroscience? 

Day 7 (June 26th): What makes you smile? 

I am encouraging so many photos for this one. Post anything and everything that makes you happy, from friends to places to TV shows. It doesn’t matter at all what you post, since it’s about what you like, and what puts a smile on your face. 

The answer is yes! I know I’ve been really quiet lately, I’ve worked non-stop the past few days and I’ve just been so tired. Just to clarify: we’ve done season 1 episodes 1 and 2 so far. The quizzes have been released for those. Today is the day to catch up if you can! Make sure you live tweet with the hashtag #StitchersReWatchChallenge! Tomorrow we will start Season 1 Episode 3!!! GUYS STITCHERS WAS NOMINATED FOR THE TEEN CHOICE AWARDS. DO YOU KNOW HOW HUGE THIS IS??? JUST BEING NOMINATED SHOWS FREEFORM THAT PEOPLE WATCH AND CARE ABOUT THE SHOW. ok I’ll stop yelling but seriously, it would be difficult for Freeform to cancel a show that has been nominated for an award at a huge award show. So what to do we do? WE VOTE LIKE CRAZY. VOTE EVERYDAY!! You should be able to vote once a day. And that’s what we will do! If we can win… It’ll be H U G E!

Even though season 2 had ended, we have to keep fighting to get Stitchers renewed. I really love rewatching all the amazing moments Camsten shared and I hope that reliving makes you wanna support the show even more.

2x06

-Cameron & Kirsten can be friends and talk about Nina, without lots of drama.

-Cameron thinks it’s weird to talk to Kirsten about another girl.

-Cameron’s worried look and him actually being worried when Kirsten starts talking about her search for Elizabeth Brown.

-Cameron knows Kirsten can’t cook that well (he offers to order in, and he says “not burnt” when Kirsten asks if he’s got any requests for dinner).

-Cameron told Nina everything about Kirsten!

-Kirsten looks doubtful after agreeing to dinner with Cameron and Kirsten.

-Cameron offering to do dinner another night or not at all, “you really don’t have to”.

-Cameron’s smile after Kirsten walks out to get groceries for dinner, and then he’s got a doubtful look as well.

-Cameron is SO nervous before dinner!!!

-Nina “She is your co-worker. Why would I be nervous?” Cause Kirsten isn’t just his co-worker!!!

-The dinner is pancakes with chocolate hazelnut spread. Kirsten eats the chocolate to calm herself down, which means she’s stressed and nervous for dinner with Cameron and Nina.

-Cameron “Yes I have been known to throw together a decent meal.” Kirsten “Please. He is such a foodie.”

-Nina hasn’t had Cameron’s “world famous habanero salsa” yet, but Kirsten has.

-Nina thinks Kirsten is perfect because of everything Cameron has told her about Kirsten! “You wouldn’t know that by the way this guy talks about you.”

-Nina “This brilliant, accomplished, very tall woman.” Kirsten (to Cameron) “You said that?” Cameron “Just the part about you being tall.” Nina “No, he said all of it.”

-Cameron gets uncomfortable when Nina tells Kirsten how he described her.

-Nina “He really loves working with you.” Kirsten “Well, I feel the same way about him.” [the look Camsten shares!!!] Nina “That is super sweet.”

-Cameron checking again if Kirsten’s good with meeting Nina.

-Kirsten is good with Cam and Nina, as long as Nina makes him happy.

-Cameron & Kirsten are both upset while looking at Kirsten’s wall.

-Cameron “thinks” he agrees with Nina getting to know Kirsten better.

-When Kirsten notices Cameron is “annoyingly chipper”, he says he had a really good time at dinner.

-Cameron “Thank you for being, you know, so open and friendly to Nina.”

-Liam asks Camille about Kirsten & Cameron (he expected them to be together).

-Cautious Cameron when Kirsten’s silent for 30 seconds during the Stitch.

-Kirsten sees young Cameron cause he’s the person her subconscious trusts the most.

-Cameron noticing Kirsten is “all over the place” - “It’s starting to worry me.”

-Cameron & Kirsten both can’t let things go (Cameron can’t let go his concerns about Kirsten, Kirsten can’t let go of the search for her dad).

-Cameron to Kirsten “You can be honest with me all right? Whatever is going on, you can let me in.”

2x07

-Cameron calling Kirsten “little mermaid”.

-Cameron’s so worried about Kirsten that he wants Ayo to do an extra physical.

-Cameron knows when to push Kirsten or when to shut up about something. He knew mentioning the red cap kid again wouldn’t go well at all, so he didn’t.

-Cameron telling Kirsten she can still talk to him about things, which Kirsten knows.

-And “nothing’s ever gonna change that”.

-Kirsten thanking Cameron for that.

-Kirsten is really trying to be supportive of Cameron and Nina, cause she thinks Nina makes Cameron happy right now.

-Kirsten stopping Cameron from fighting with Randall.

-Kirsten calming Cameron down after his father was brought up.

-Cameron thinking he has to explain his dad to Kirsten, while Kirsten thinks he doesn’t have to.

-Kirsten knows Cameron’s nothing like his father.

-Kirsten & Cameron both have “criminal, absent, pathetic fathers”.

-Cameron when Randall points a knife to Kirsten’s throat: “Maggie, feel free to shoot that douche.”

-Kirsten “Promise not to ask you about your Dad or if you’re okay.” Cameron “I’m okay.” Kirsten “So then do you want to go to dinner and talk about how very okay you are?”

-The looks.

2x08

-Cameron has “legitimate concernsfor Kirsten’s mental and psychical health”.

-Cam “How are you?” Kirsten “Just because you’re a doctor does not mean you are my doctor. [Cameron scoffs] But I’m fine, thank you.”

-Kirsten asking how Cameron is, cause she feels like she never sees him anymore outside of work.

-Kirsten gets that Cameron has Nina in his life.

-Kirsten “I’m just saying that I miss hanging out with you”

-The look on Cam’s face: he’s surprised to hear it and happy to hear it.

-Kirsten’s reaction after Cameron suggests the three of them (with Nina) get drinks. Her FACE!!! She wanted to hang out with Cam alone.

-Kirsten’s happy she finally guesses one of Cam’s movie references right!!! Cam “You’re learning.”

-Kirsten knows Cam’s texting with Nina because of his smile. The fact Kirsten just says that… :(

-Cameron making Kirsten sit down and rest till the next stitch.

-Cam sits Kirsten down at HIS desk.

-Kirsten (accidentally) answers Cameron’s phone (Nina).

-Cam asking Ayo if Kirsten’s okay.

-When Ayo mentions she doesn’t know if Kirsten’s okay, Cam thinks of a better plan.

-Kirsten thanking Cam for his plan cause she’s ‘burning out’ (making her do 2 stitches in a row of 2 minutes).

-The way Cam yells Kirsten’s name when she passes out in the tank.

-Cam asks Kirsten how she feels after passing out in the tank.

-Cam wants to stop stitching after Kirsten passed out.

-Cam calling Kirsten ‘Daisy-Mae’.

-Cam “At the first sign of trouble…” Kirsten “I’ll bounce, don’t worry.”

-Cam feels bad after blowing Nina off, but when he takes a call from Kirsten there’s immediately a little smile back on his face.

-Kirsten being a good friend to Cam by telling him Nina called (she could’ve just pretended to forget it after such an exhausting day, but she didn’t).

Okay, so Cameron Goodkin, yes? Let’s just focus on his last name, shall we?

We all know what “good” means. It’s positive, desired, the most basic adjective in any language.

“Kin” is an old term normally meaning family. You often hear the phrase “next of kin” in TV shows, and that refers to the closest family member or friend that person had.

Goodkin. Good-family. Good-friend.

Cameron’s last name literally means “good family.”

And what does Kirsten have?

Shitty family. Family that “stings” her. Family that she lost and constantly hurts her, whether they mean to or not.

Cameron is Kirsten’s best friend and who she feels like she’s at home with. That’s what family typically is.

The Goodkin is trying to help take out the Stingers in Kirsten.
