Pinned post because that seems to be what people are doing these days instead of about pages. Real Tumblr Veteransβ’ remember about pagesβ¦
Hi I'm Cosmo! 29, he/him and neutral they is also fine. Good chance you're here from my Project Moon memes since those get the most traction out of all my posts, but this isn't necessarily a PM blog, just my personal. I've got a Homestuck blog (@blue-atom) and an Elder Scrolls blog (@imperialorrery) where some of my more enthusiastic fixations go so as not to clog the place up. For the most part it's gonna be game stuff like Pokemon and Sonic with some sci-fi/fantasy, animation and science stuff thrown in.
No DNI because those are dumb. No politics or discourse posting here either, I'm just here for a good time.

A former researcher of Lobotomy Corporation and well-traveled Fixer, this Sinner is both a genius possessing a wealth of information relating to Abnormalities, E.G.O and Enkephalin, and a deadly adversary in combat. She may prove a valuable analytical asset, however we recommend caution in indulging her scientific curiosity; her ruthless pragmatism is amoral even by the standards of the City.
Hello Tumblr today I would like to introduce you to my morally dubious MILF Limbus fansinner Victor, based of course on Victor Frankenstein from the eponymous novel.
Way more info on her backstory, The Monsterβ’, and her hypothetical canto under the cut:
Victor is a cold and calculating scientist at heart, though it's been years since she stepped foot in a lab. She finds interest in the forbidden secrets and dark corners of the world, and doesn't let petty morality or consequence get in the way of her sick curiosity. She has little care for her fellow humans - cruelty amuses her more than it bothers her, and really, others' concerns aren't her problem. She appreciates an intellectual and philosophical conversation, but others can rarely stand to talk to her, especially with how often it devolves into mind games. She's less objective than someone like Faust, and her (often distasteful) personal opinions tend to seep liberally into her views and decisions.
She hails from a wealthy family in District 20's Nest. A genius from a young age, she demonstrated a strong understanding and interest in biological subjects, but frustrated her tutors and professors by ignoring scientific convention and her fellow scholars in favor of chasing unsubstantiated rumors, legends, and methods derided as magic. In particular, she wanted to uncover the secrets behind the origin of life and the 'soul'.
Growing up, her family took in an orphan girl named Elizabeth, with whom Victor was closely attatched, and later romantically involved:
Elizabeth, however, would suffer an illness which led to her death, so suddenly and unexpectedly that Victor would not even get the chance to say a proper goodbye.
Traumatized and scarred, Victor became obsessed with the idea that she could somehow bring Elizabeth back from death. She was well aware that resurrection of a deceased individual is beyond what is permitted by the Head, but believed that some element of Elizabeth's being - her 'soul', had returned to a primordial existence from which she could be entirely recreated, bypassing this restriction.
This obsession gnawed at Victor for over a decade with no progress to show for it, but at the close of the Smoke War, she was hired by L Corp.'s new Wing. Now working as a researcher at the District 20 branch of Lobotomy Corporation, and exposed to proprietary knowledge of Abnormalities and their origin (much of which was obtained illegally), Victor's obsession began to take a tangible shape.
Using her inherited wealth, Victor led a secretive expedition to the bottom of the Ruins, attempting to locate the source from which all thought and life emerges. Despite the deaths of many Fixers, her endeavor was a success, and she returned with the secret that would allow her to recreate her Elizabeth.
In a dimly-lit laboratory, after weeks of poring over notes and barely sleeping, Victor created life - her Elizabeth, having taken form once more.
And she'd come back wrong.
Something had gone horribly awry with Victor's process, and she didn't know where, but she knew what she had created could not have been her Elizabeth. What stood before her - wearing Elizabeth's skin and Elizabeth's voice, but shifting in shape and wielding powers from the Well - was a monster, a monster whose existence would surely would earn her an immediate death warrant from the Head.
But Victor waited, and waited, and the Claws never came. Why? Were the Beholders somehow blind to the sin she had made in the dark of her lab? How could she have gotten away with violating a Taboo?
Victor could not risk her secret getting out, and so she attempted to destroy what she had created, undo her mistake. But Victor's monster was even more difficult to dispose of than it was to create, and defied its creator's attempts to kill it. It had escaped, and would show up to bring a swift death to anyone Victor made the mistake of getting close to. The monster wouldn't even permit her to love while it still breathed. It would not let Victor forget its existence, and so Victor could not rest until it was destroyed.
No longer able to live as a researcher, she took up the mantle of a Fixer, learning to fight, learning to hunt - every contract she took was merely an excuse to track down her creation and put an end to it. For almost ten years she traveled the City, chasing her monster, yet in all that time, even as she lost all traces of identity beyond her ruthless guilt-driven demand for closure, it still continued to elude her.
In the frozen north of District 25, Victor, by now a tired and grizzled veteran, was approached by Limbus Company with an offer to become a Sinner - she would be an asset to the company with her skills and knowledge. In return, she would be granted that which she had always desired.
Naturally, she accepted. Her contract would be fulfilled, her monster would finally die.
Victor's canto, as well as exploring her background, offers an insight into the monster's side of the story.
The monster, calling herself Elizabeth - because that's who she is, who she's supposed to be - was created out of love, to be loved. It's the one thing she knew when she came into being, she was a manifestation of Victor's love.
And yet Victor did not love her; Victor wanted to destroy her. She couldn't wrap her head around why. Victor loved other people, Victor loved her family, Victor tried to move on and enter relationships with other people, so what was the problem? What did Elizabeth do wrong? It becomes a terrible self-loathing spiral.
Her desperation to be loved turns to a resolve to destroy anything that Victor could possibly love more than her; when there's nothing left, surely Victor will take her? And when it becomes apparent that it won't work, she continues to do what she's doing anyway out of spite - if Victor doesn't see Elizabeth as deserving of love, she won't let Victor have it either. She takes delight in Victor chasing her all across the City, because it's the closest she's ever felt to being desired by her.
But then, into the main story of Limbus Company, Elizabeth essentially drops off the radar, and Victor becomes intensely suspicious. By now, the Elizabeth she knows would have slaughtered the entire LCB for having the audacity to be friends with Victor. But it doesn't happen. She's up to something.
Following rumors of escaped Abnormalities attacking people in District 20, the Sinners find her in the abandonded T Corp. Lobotomy branch, where she has obtained a Monolith, a Golden Bough, and has set herself up as a queen of Abnormalities and Distortions. Whilst Victor is aged and scarred; Elizabeth looks as youthful as the day she was created, highlighting how she is at this point almost more an abandoned daughter than a lover.
This all came about, of course, after a very insightful conversation with a beautiful voice in her head. For the first time in her life, she actually feels a sense of kinship. They're all just beings with unrecognized desires and are hated for what they are. She is planning to invade the City alongside her new kin, turning everyone into Abnormalities, Peccatula and Distortions - and when everyone's a monster, nobody will be.
The LCB rush to put a stop to this emerging disaster, but fail. Elizabeth's court breaks containment and emerges onto the surface, beginning her uprising, and beginning to transform the citizens of T Corp. into something else. She doesn't get very far though before being assaulted by a group of Claws led by the Arbiter Zena, who have been sent to prevent a change to the status quo of the City.
Elizabeth's rebellion is put down, and Victor grimly resigns herself to the fact that it's completely over for her. Now that the Head has discovered the monster she made, she's not getting away with her life.
But Zena just finds this notion funny. Did Victor seriously think that if she had actually violated a Taboo, she would have been able to hide it for this long? No. Elizabeth may possess abilities beyond the scope of a normal human due to her connection to the Rivers and the Well, but she is still human by the Head's definition. If Elizabeth is a monster, then it is entirely the fault of Victor and her mistreatment of her creation.
It's then that Victor hears the same voice that Elizabeth heard, and is convinced to accept what she's been denying the entire time.
Victor distorts into a monstrous beast, and becomes the final boss of her own canto (to the tune of a Mili track titled Monster).
Following the fight, which Zena has been merely watching in amusement, Victor is brought back, and has a begrudgingly peaceful resolution with Elizabeth. She can never forgive her for the amount of pain she's caused, but she can at least acknowledge that she was the cause of some of that pain.
It's then that Zena chimes in with a reminder that Elizabeth's crimes against the City must be dealt with. Elizabeth isn't too fazed by this, and voluntarily accepts an exile to the Outskirts. There's too much bad blood with Victor, and she can't live the rest of her life trying to be someone she's not. She takes on the new name Eve, to represent her depature from the identity of Elizabeth, and leaves the City to finally explore her personhood without all of that baggage hanging over her.
Victor expresses relief at not having to live under the shadow of her own guilt anymore, the credits roll, and she gets to sing a song.
(And then a little later, someone meets Eve, and finds her to be very interesting indeed.)
If you read this far, thank you so much for reading!! I love Victor and her story/themes are something I've been gnawing on in my head for the better part of a year, and I'm always happy to talk about her and Elizabeth more if you have questions or curiosities!!
