I was ready to move on and close this topic, but since their minions keep barging into my blog, here is my response. This creature came into my reblogs and started accusing me of making things up about good people and harassing them for no reason. lmao
Well then, let's exhume the past and refresh our memory.
Exposing the trolling, harassment, and brigading by a certain toxic AA apologist clique:
Part 1: coordinated raid on Neil Newbon's channel.
Part 2: An example of a blog raid, along with blatant ableism and transphobia.
Part 3: Attempting to ban someone else's YouTube channel by mass-reporting it
Part 4: Humiliating a mod author over animation and character interpretation.
Part 5: A dogpile over an innocent meme
Part 6: Nitpicking out of pure spite.
Part 7: Harassment and bullying on an anon blog
Part 8: DARVO (I recommend checking out the comments and reblogs under this post after reading the 7 parts above to get the full picture).
(Note: At this point, they may have already scrubbed and deleted those messages from their chat, but screenshot evidence is forever. Their actions are fully documented here.)
Furthermore, ikari-yoshi tried to call me out for AI translation to frame me as "bad" for using "forbidden tools." It's a cheap provocation because, factually, they have nothing of substance to say. Their whole group uses AI and ChatGPT regularly without a word, but it's suddenly a crime when it's me. Playing the "you don't know English" card is just their default move when things heat up.
Regarding the closed comments and DMs. They had every chance to come forward earlier when everything was open, as proven by these posts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7). By the way, they tried messaging me a couple of times (1, 2, 3), but the moment they realized they were out of their depth, they chickened out. Instead, they resorted to their go-to move: playing the victim and spamming the tags with unhinged meltdowns. Now that ship has sailed, but since the bullies' sycophants won't drop it, I'm setting the record straight.
And regarding the tags, they're staying up. Let everyone see what's actually happening in the AA fandom and what a total disgrace some of these people are. I believe that things like bullying and harassment shouldn't be kept quiet; they need to be called out publicly.
***
Now, moving on to the next part:
"Master Astarion is a large, active community dedicated to Astarion on Telegram in Russia." (c) marielle555
LMAO
Also, marielle555 boasts about taking part in discussions on the Larian forums. Well, you can go check out the remains of what the mods haven't wiped yet. The only thing that stopped marielle555 from acting the exact same way there as she does on this site was a moderator hovering over her head with a ban hammer.
Meanwhile, in the comments of Part 8, a user named astarion-cat, who calls herself the chat admin, clearly stated that this is "a group where most people prefer AA." So even here, these AA stans including crazy marielle555 are trying to feed everyone crap — they're lying through their teeth and don't even blush. By the way, if you visit this admin's blog, you can see in the comments section how she herself harassed someone on another blog over their in-game choice.
By the way, I also found astarion-cat's tone amusing, as if she's the big boss here and calls all the shots. This person is completely out of touch with reality and probably thinks she's the center of the universe, believing that she can run the entire fandom in public just like she runs her own echo chamber. And yet, if you actually look at all 8 parts of documented absolute train wreck and harassment, you can see that astarion-cat is lying in every single word. Moreover, as an admin, she gladly takes part in the bullying herself (Part 2 and 3).
By the way, according to her fake claims, the label "spawnfucker" is supposedly just an internal joke in their chat. That's very interesting to hear — especially when you've never even stepped foot in their chat, yet random hardcore AA stan in comments calls you a "spawnfucker" out of nowhere, completely dismissing your opinion with phrases like "spawnfucker rhetoric," "spawnfucker take," "spawnfucker bingo" and other lovely epithets.
This aligns perfectly with how real-life abusers and gaslighters behave — a comparison these people always seem to take offense at, even though it’s the honest truth when it comes to their actions.
Once again, these people are trying to play the victim card, even though they are true DARVO practitioners and always have been. But it's not going to work. Their reputation will spread across the entire fandom, and everyone will know what they truly are.
A post framed as a "plea to stop harassment" is, in reality, just another attempt to legitimize bullying and harassment.
Out of 50 likes, ~20 people (likely including alt accounts) are turning this fandom into a toxic mess, taking out their anger on others simply for preferring the Spawn route and refusing to whitewash the evil ending.
This will be my last post on the topic for now — I definitely need a break.
For anyone who missed the background and timeline:
Exposing the trolling, harassment, and brigading by a certain toxic AA apologist clique
Take care of your peace of mind and don't feed the trolls.
Dear Astarion fans!
Can we please take a step back and look at what's been happening in the tags lately?
If you see accounts whose main goal is to harass, target, or encourage dogpiling against other fans, please don't engage with them. Block them and move on.
The fandom exists because people want to celebrate characters they love through art, writing, edits, discussions, and creativity - not to be dragged into endless callout posts, personal vendettas, or manufactured drama.
Lately we've seen posts disguised as "neutral analysis" or "objective discussions" that are, in reality, little more than targeted harassment campaigns against members of the community. Before liking, reblogging, or endorsing that kind of content, please think carefully about what you're actually supporting - and whether that's the kind of community you want to help create.
We've also seen anonymous messages circulating with what are essentially "blacklists" of fans, encouraging people to block or target specific individuals. That is not normal. It crosses a line.
And to the one very persistent little spitz dog who keeps trying to drag the entire fandom into personal conflicts — please stop. Not every disagreement needs to become a fandom-wide crusade. Most people are here because they love Astarion, not because they want to participate in someone else's personal war.
And to the local space troll whose unhealthy obsession with other fans has gone way too far... maybe it's time to chill.
If you know, you know. Seven thousand reasons should be enough.
This is supposed to be a fandom. Whether someone prefers Ascended Astarion, Spawn Astarion, or simply enjoys Baldur's Gate 3 shouldn't be an excuse for harassment, intimidation, or attempts to pit fans against one another.
Disagree with people's interpretations if you want. Discuss the writing. Debate the lore. But do not normalize harassment campaigns, blacklists, or attempts to publicly shame people for enjoying fictional content.
We've already crossed the point where this stopped being "fandom drama." This is becoming targeted harassment, and it has no place in this community.
This path is self-destructive. Building your life around hatred and an unhealthy obsession with other fans will never lead anywhere good.
Let's put the focus back where it belongs: on creativity, friendship, and our shared love for Astarion.

Making mistakes is ok.
But constantly gaslighting while making those mistakes?
That’s become a classic move for a part of the Spawn community, the fixers.
Not sure what else to say here. Practice makes perfect. As always — perfect bullshit.
A great example of a fixer-style "analysis": first they come up with their very crooked conclusions about Ascended Astarion, and only then try to bend everything in the text to fit those conclusions.
Here's another one, a classic.
BULLSHIT
They look at each other lovingly.
Treating Astarion on the path of Ascension as not himself instead of as "free, honest Astarion with all his feelings" kills his character far more exquisitely than any "I love killing him" stake-guy in Act 1.
By the way, I loaded the Spawn ending. Look.
Spawn Astarion avoids eye contact, hiding himself and his gaze from Tav.
He hides his true self to please others.
He’s used to giving that kind of look — to shut out all the pain around him and inside.
Astarion himself is once again like in a coffin.
In addition. Check out what I can do.
Did you hear how Astarion calls Tav "Cheeky little pup"?
Astarion uses it on Tav because he’s used to hearing it and maybe even wants to be Cazador for them in Act 1.
The word pup scares me.
In the Spawn epilogue, he says "Cheeky" but restrains himself before the "pup" part — because he’s afraid they’ll see through him.
He's in the process of not becoming Cazador 2.0 — but that part of him is still alive.
Good thing we can fix a potential Сazador with a couple of hugs and 18 Charisma, eh? :D
Even that joke better than any fixer’s character analysis of Astarion ever could.
Because to fixers, there is no Astarion who, for the first time in 200 years, finds a partner with whom he can say "ours", "we" and receive that love in return. The one who never trusted anyone now proudly says he's not alone — and he's happy about it.
There’s only a "fix" — a "correct version" that the fixers need.
And if it hasn’t been "fixed", then it’s automatically nothing but manipulation, lies and abuse.
Anything left unfixed is trash.
That’s what truly shows attitude — Astarion as an object, not as a whole, complex person who is still Astarion on every path.
And on the Ascended path, he’s a free Astarion, Tav and Astarion love each other. That much is certain.
That was the narrative arc for the Ascended Astarion romance from the beginning, it still is, and it will continue to be.
The true tragedy of Astarion's character is having fixer-fans in his fanbase.
“Creative” anti-AA and what their moral superiority complex is based on.
Another post from those who hate and insult Astarion, yet call themselves his “fans”:
Of course, one can ignore such “creativity”, for someone like the creator of this post would have to say something smart to really surprise the public. Perhaps the attempts at insults born in the depths of the aphedron are necessary in order to present their favorite “path of redemption” with “I can fix him” (translation: “I can be on top, own a pretty boy”, for the encounter with a strong contradictory personality in some people causes a desire to bring this personality at least to their level, or better lower, to satisfy their instincts in a similar way). To take away Astarion's chance to live a full life, oh, he never had a chance not to feel hunger before, to enjoy the sun, so he'll get by, he doesn't need it, or you'll “make” him so bad… Now we'll “prove” how bad you'll “make” him…. To take away a person's chance to be spared from suffering for the sake of your own “moral”/immoral, but well covered by what is presented as “morality”, desires - well, doesn't this picture show who is the “freak” here?
I've long wanted to share my thoughts on the moral superiority complex of anti-AAs (I think you've noticed the presence of this complex, and this picture is a good illustration of how valuable the morality of an opponent is, with whom, if you want to talk on the same level, you might have to get down on the floor).
And it is hard not to notice the obvious features of predatory behavior of this “part of the fandom” after a long stay in the fandom, at that, if attempts of pressure from their side fail, then they often start “playing the victim” including to make the opponent look like an aggressor. Maybe someone is really angry at some person from their own past and “saw an enemy” in AA, which has nothing to do with it and nothing to do with them. Maybe you've come across “AA is my personal enemy” style expressions, lol, doesn't it seem to anyone that “waging war” with game characters is already something outside the realm of game analytics? With this logic, if I've ever met a womanizer in my life, then because of that I should go to Halsin fans and harass them about how bad Halsin is and that it's better not to get involved with him IRL. And generally, Larian needs to rewrite him so that he cheats on the player right in front of their eyes so that everyone gets the “message”. And that the player should have no roleplay in the process (or else suddenly someone will like it and want to join in and have fun themselves), and Tav should make sure to make an unhappy face and burst into tears.
It also seems to me that some of those actively defending their “message” about the “cycle of abuse” are themselves latent abusers. If you read up on emotional abuse (as I was once advised, applying this to AA), you can find definitely quite a lot of similarities and overlap - verbal humiliation (they apply it to opponents as well as justifying Tav's offensive behavior towards Astarion), guilt manipulation (by the way, the “victim” image works well for this), devaluation - this is often applied to other players, and also constant devaluation of Astarion's suffering and feelings in the UA route. Hyperbolizing their own importance - tantrums over being called a “pet” (the word “pet” in British English can be used as an obsolete expression meaning “dear” or “sweetie”), and kneeling scene. Also as a reaction to a negative evaluation of Tav's behavior (Tav is actually a character too, but some people seem to like those variants of roleplay that can be negatively evaluated). The emotional abuser shows disrespect for their partner's actions and decisions, so the belief that Astarion is a silly little elf who is “just scared” and needs to be “mentored” is very suitable. Double standards (the victim is not allowed to do behaviors that are acceptable to the abuser. The abuser can express displeasure and resentment - the victim can't). In fandom: hating AA is “opinion”, even “polite analysis”, criticizing and disliking UA's route (exactly criticizing the route itself and what happens to Astarion in the game, not Astarion himself, though they actively try to gaslight that supposedly AA fans call UA “pathetic” and try to present other people's dislike of the Redemption Arc as disliking UA's character) - causes butthurt. Gaslighting “how good it is for Astarion to give up the ritual - it's a good path” - right, well done, explaining and debunking their myths about AA - “romanticizing abuse”. Physical violence - kicking Astarion, kneeling him in the evil ending, killing him in the evil DU ending - what kind of person can take pleasure in having such “opportunities” in a game?
I'd also like to add that my aversion to such labels on pictures has nothing to do with “choosing side” or the AA vs. UA controversy. And I use the AA or UA abbreviation simply for convenience, so that I don't have to write “Astarion who wasn't allowed to Ascend” or “Astarion who was able to Ascend” every time. I love Astarion either way, regardless of what happened to him in the course of the plot. And it's not uncommon to see abominations with an unascended Astarion called "art" by this same “fandom” that are far worse and cause far more anger than what these weird captions in the picture. The fact that Astarion was added sexual trauma, yes, it's a tough but strong plot decision, and many people saw their own traumas in his story, but unfortunately it's also a factor that attracts predators and abusers to his character.
LMAO the lady who is posting the ragebait is deleting comments asking for a link to the video and deleting replies to said comments that link to it.
Amazing. I guess there is some awareness that they have influence over less intense fans who don't look up this sort of thing before believing the post, so having the video there where he says that:
-AA is toxic and has an unequal relationship,
-based on bad and toxic relationships IRL,
-wanting to replicate "the bad relationship he had before but with him being the one on top this time" (wondering who the person he's replacing is supposed to be?),
-that he wants you to be below him,
-that "he thinks he loves you",
-and that the Bride thing wasn't on his mind when writing it (and he doesn't know if it even was in Welch's mind either)
is inconvenient...
Of course they're deleting it, nothing ruins a perfectly good cope faster than facts.
Look at this absolute circus with the "vampire bride" thing!
First, AA stans trashing Welch for years, throwing hate at them, and accusing them of ruining AA. And now, just because Rooney mentioned that another writer worked on those scenes, and it was literally Welch, they suddenly turn around and go: "Oh, thank you to that other writer for this amazing idea!" So they are literally praising the exact same writer they've been hating on for years, all because they think it validates their headcanon. What a bunch of fucking hypocrites, I swear to God, lmao 🤡
What makes it even funnier is what Rooney actually said about those scenes:
"The Dark Kiss thing, it was something, I think, that was there in conversations around that we were having. It wasn't something I was particularly thinking of at the time. There was another writer that did some writing on those scenes. And then I kind of came in because I was away for a while. And so I came in and rewrote stuff as best as I could. So that was more collaborative. I can't say 100% if that was on their mind or not, but it's not a direct one-to-one thing."
So let me get this straight: AA stans are thanking Welch for scenes that Rooney had to rewrite, all for a theory Rooney himself isn't even sure was intended. The level of cope is insane.
Exposing the trolling, harassment, and brigading by a certain toxic AA apologist clique. Part 4: Humiliating a mod author over animation and character interpretation.
I remember a post on this topic by a well-known figure floating around here, and it was taken as a joke/bait at the time. But nope, they are dead serious.
1, 2
By the way, have you noticed this absolute confidence they have, as if only they are the true fans, and everyone else isn't? Like they somehow own the character? It's honestly giving off some unhealthy, cult-like vibes.

Since Rooney's fresh interview speaks louder than anything else, I think I'm done dirtying my hands with all this nastiness. What's already out there is more than enough. I'm moving on to enjoy the game.
How delusional can all of you actually be, honestly? You keep seeing Tamara or Rote under every single rock. By the way, I don't even know either of them personally. What are you even panicking about? If, by your logic, it's only 1 or 2 people standing against you, why are you so terrified?
And as for names—anyone in the ru-fandom who's been around since game release and was active in the BG3 VK groups knows exactly who you are and how you love to dogpile on people, just like you do everywhere else.
People have told you this before, and I completely agree: you are an absolute embarrassment to the Russian fandom and a disgrace to the Ascended Astarion fandom. If it weren't for you constantly reigniting this split, it would have been over long ago.
Did anyone from Neil's channel comments touch you? Or the random people you harass everywhere, who didn't even know about the Spawn vs. Ascended drama until you popped up? Wherever there's toxicity, drama, and shade, it's always the same old usernames of your consort crew and minions pretending to be "Spawn fans" or "both-endings enjoyers," but…
You hate real people over their interpretation of a bunch of pixels, and you don't even realize how unhinged that is. Wherever you show up, you bring nothing but filth and petty fighting.
So yeah, YOU are the absolute bottom tier and the shame of this fandom. You need to be kicked out of every space, and this whole thing would finally end.
Good on you for exposing this behavior. The kind of gaslighting and mental gymnastics that these toxic AA fans engage with is astonishing. These groups chats are disgusting and they should be ashamed of themselves for their behavior and for poisoning the lake that is this fandom.
Yeah, it's completely insane to me how they behave.
This blog belongs to the same people, they only post asks from their own chat circle. If anyone outside that circle sent them an ask, it's probably just circulating as screenshots in their private chats by now. The fact that they keep dumping all of this into the main tags, turning the vast majority of the fandom against themselves, is hilarious to me. It's just a shame they're dragging down all AA fans with this. I know not everyone is like that, though.
Do you know who this mysterious Rote is? It seems like they're mentioned a lot.
Rote is someone who was against the changes to facial animations and spoke out on the Larian forums, so these AA fans ended up harassing them across multiple platforms. I've literally seen that crowd drag Rote's name into arguments twice myself—they're seeing this person under every rock. That's pretty much all I know

Exposing the trolling, harassment, and brigading by a certain toxic AA apologist clique. Part 3: Attempting to ban someone else's YouTube channel by mass-reporting it, just because they think that some Spawn fan got their channel banned.
As you can see from the screenshots below, a group of AA fans coordinated a mass-reporting campaign, sharing a ready-made template to get the channel banned:
link
(They cowardly deleted those messages, but even the chat admin participated in mass-reporting this channel.)
The truth is, these AA fans are throwing a massive tantrum over a fictional character analysis that doesn't match their own:
And honestly, judging by how often they've mentioned this channel and its owner in their chats and across the Russian community, it really feels like they are genuinely obsessed with her content and her personally.
I can't stand this classic spawn fan line: "Astarion thanked me for refusing to perform the ritual."
In other words: "The game, the writers, and Astarion himself told me I made the right choice, so I don't see why I should analyze the situation for myself."
No. The game, the writers, and Astarion told you exactly what you wanted to hear. You got exactly what you wanted - a reassuring pat on the head. Here's your cookie.
