New moon candle - November 26th

Today, we experience the New Moon of November and as the Waning Moon spell seemed to interest some of you, here is what I would like to share with you now that the Moon is fully dark ~
This New Moon is happening in the sign of Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter, which is usually about adventure, travel, education, sports and physical activities in general.
When the Moon is in this fiery sign, we tend to focus on the big picture and the search of new experiences instead of details. This is why you also may feel quite spontaneous in your work today, and want to use new items or ingredients. Time to use these crystals you bought and never touch because you already have so many ! ~
Of course some of us could wonder how we can use these energies in a time of “introspection” like a New Moon ?
New Moons are indeed time for introspection if you want them to be, but they are also a very powerful moment for new beginnings, new projects, health, beauty, rejuvanation... Feel free to go with what you feel is right for you.
And, well, I don't know about you, but I had enough introspection during Mercury retrograde in Scorpio ! ~ Breath if you agree.
Anyway, what I like to do during New Moons is trying to combine these two purpose at once by doing some magick that are not spells or rituals but more like crafts or diy : candle, sachets or puppets making, to talk only about a few ones.
But before we jump into this little craft I prepared, I would like to inform you about an other celestial event.

But you will forgive me for this extra-reading in a bit.
Few days after today’s New Moon, our natural satellite wil be passing very close to Jupiter, and Venus.
Here is why such an occurence is a wonder : The New Moon is a new beginning of a cycle, we can all agree on that. And if you use Jupiter’s energies, and/or Venus’, then your intentions will have all the chances to be successful as the Celestial Being carrying them is meeting the two power sources you used. Kind of like a “cosmic high five”.
No surprise, I would highly recommand using the two planets mentionned earlier tonight.
Let's wait no further and start our witchy DIY :
☆ New Moon Candle ☆ Setting your intention for the next month.
Needed :
A tall candle that you like
A paper & a pen
A sharp object (to carve your candle. Careful with the knifes!)
Herbs of your choice that represent the energies you will use (Ex: Lavender for Venus, Sage or Chamomile for Jupiter... As always, whatever works for you ~)
A piece of cord or ribon
Steps :
- Write your intention for the next moon cycle (prosperity, love, luck, beauty...) Be specific and choose your words wisely, no negative sentences.
- *Optional* Carve on the candle the symbols of the planets you used or sigils of your choice.
- Take your candle and think about what you wrote on your paper while you surround the candle with the herbs you chose and tie it with the cord/ribon.
- Once it is done, place your candle on the paper folded in four, and display it on your altar.
- Let it sit all night for it to absorb the New Moons energy.
- Keep your paper with your candle until your intent manifest. Then you can burn it with its candle. (With this you also take away your intention off the candle and can reuse it for another purpose if any left ~)
And you are done ~
Light this candle whenever you need its energy during this moon cycle.
