I really would have loved to see Kal and Moash's interactions in WoR from other bridgemen's eyes. Because this stuff is hilarious. First Moash becomes weirdly insistent on getting into Captain's personal space while looking into his eyes and talking so passionately about something in a lowered tone that it occasionally even attracts stray spren. The whole taking him by the arm thing. Repeatedly asking Kaladin to go out with him to get drinks, and when he finally does go, snatching him away just after a few gulps from both sides with the most conspicuously vague reason ever. And when you start to think that this guy has the most obvious, most embarrassing and relatable — because hey, who wouldn't — one-sided crush on captain Kaladin-storming-Stormblessed, Kaladin turns around and in the most stupidly grand gesture of generosity gives him his Shards. Like Moash is the specialest guy in the entire Bridge Four. Is this what flirting looks like these days? They should get their shits together and like, commit to it already. They're not being subtle anyway. Good for them.

could someone suggest some good Shakadolin fics? Embarrassed as I am to say it, I haven't actually figured out how to use the AO3 search engine and I get all my docs from this hellsite

I drink the air before me by Dhillarearen, shakadolin kaladin almost dies and shallan breaths stormlight into him, kal+shal turn adolin into jello with stormlight kisses

Patchwork by BrightlordKaladin, shallan paints the scars on her partners’ skin

Fanaa by elsecaller_muu, Adolin dies but lingers as a ghost and witnesses his family grieving, heavy angst

And love. By kiminsocks, Adolin struggles to cope after the battle of azimir and 10 years later he reunites with shallan and kal. Also pretty heavy angst please mind the tags!

I recommend like anything from cuubism lots of it is Kal/Adolin or Kal/leshwi but it’s wonderful angst and wonderful writing

Also Calcifur, lots of great kaladin whump and some are shakadolin or kadolin

Oooo if I may add on to this prodigious list... If you like modern AUs I'd absolutely recommend Silver Spoons by eeedddeee. Unrated (has mature themes and sex scenes), 113K words. Unbenownst to each other, Shallan and Kaladin get tangled in the web of Kholin Pharmaceuticals and decide to take action. Also unbenownst to each other, they take an interest in a certain Adolin Kholin despite their best laid plans.

If you like comics, definitely check out Pekgna's modern Shakadolin AU and the (vaguely canon) collab we did called This One Goes in the Bedroom.
