Found a SimFileShare trick that seems to work 90% of the time. Using this trick, I’ve managed to speed up my downloads, but it takes some trial and error. Well, here goes:
• Open the SimFileShare link and remove the https:// from the link.
• Start the download.
• Monitor the download progress. If it starts to pause or take way too long, cancel the download.
• After cancelling, highlight the link and press enter (don’t reload the page!). The download should resume from where it left off.
Repeat these steps until the download completes. This works for me 90% of the time, and speeds up the download process. But it has restarted the download from the beginning a few times. And remember to CANCEL the download BEFORE you retry, otherwise it’ll download multiple copies of the file!

Simmers, trust me when I tell you that you that it’s a good idea to have backup sites you upload your CC to. SimFileShare cannot handle the load. Failing downloads and downloads taking hours to complete is a problem because SimFileShare is so overused. Trust me when I tell you to upload to multiple download sites!
