but um i drew @corvidcentral 's design for ghoul nick ! with nick himself . the nick brothers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the nicotine brothers....... i lovee the idea alot . honestly more than the convoluted shit with dima . i love you ghoul nick . heart emoji .

Not her fault

When the infected started to rampage, Beverly vowed to save and protect as many people as she could from the hoards. She found herself in a tight, loving group of survivors, and spent every waking moment keeping them from harm.

Not his fault

Mateo just wanted his normal life back, he wanted his family, his job back. Some sense of security. And he found that in his friends. He latched onto them like a magnet, and never strayed far behind. Like if hes a few steps too far away they may just vanish.

Not their fault

Horang could barely hold themselves up before hordes of infected flooded the city, falling behind on college classes and debating completely dropping out to the sure dismay of their family overseas. But none of that mattered anymore. They banded together with the few friends they made in school, and watched in horror as each of them were lost to the infection. It seemed like they were the only one unaffected. They ran aimlessly, just trying to survive, until they stumble upon a restaurant held up by two injured survivors. They beg to join the two, they're a medic who could help.

And that really wasn't entirely a lie. They had taken plenty of medical classes, they just weren't fully qualified. But they threw all truth out the window, they just needed to survive by any means. They found themselves caring a lot about their new friends, connecting especially with an older woman that accepted their group of 3 into the safe shelter of her boat. She felt like a familiar auntie to them.

They kept the facade up, and it really wasn't a monstrous lie at all, as they were good at their job. Better than they remembered being in health class. Except that small amount of skill could only get them so far.

Not her fault

Jingyi was always alone. A failure to her family. Failing to live up to their expectations in university and dropping out. Failing to keep friendships, and only being met with sad, wilted flowers in attempts to confess her love to the woman she loved. Her life slowly just devolved into a shallow pool of misery and cigarette buds. Nothing seemed to matter.

She only pulled herself up to get a job, just to be able to live. Working as a seafarer to transport goods across the world. She works this job 30 years, well into her 50s, it distracts her from her festering misery. Even if she's almost entirely alone, only accompanied through these years by a lit cigarette every night, she thinks she's happy enough.

Her life isn't even terribly uprooted when the infection hits. She feels awful for her crewmates, young and old, but when she finds herself alone in the freighter she managed to clear, nothing feels extremely different than it ever has. It's a little peaceful. The only problem is her injuries, and the hunger that arises as she realizes she can't leave to find food with a broken leg.

Her answer comes when her ship is approached by a group of 3 survivors. One says they're a medic. She lets them all on, and the ship becomes a little more lively. It's difficult to really let herself connect to any of them, as shes kept herself closed off for years, but her walls slowly break down. She finds a soft spot for all 3 of them. Especially Horang, who makes her feel like she's looking in a mirror reflection of her 20 year old self. Of the world weren't fucked, she'd encourage them to keep going with college. Maybe they can one day, if they can find some refuge overseas. Maybe she can sort out a better life of her own.

Maybe they all could have done anything. But it seems that wasn't the path fate had determined. The ships doors weren't secure. It's amazing nothing got in after so long. But a horde tore through the halls of the freighter regardless. And they were all unprepared.

Jingyi finds herself the last one standing. Her friends lying mortally wounded on the ground. They cry out in pain as she tries talking to them, trying to find some way to keep them alive. But there's no use. She raises Horang's axe up above her head 3 times, and each of them are put to rest. Out of their misery.

She sits down, and lights a cigarette.

I hope the writing is ok.. hopefully it's not too repetitive. and I also hope its in character for what you guys have in mind for them . I got bored and can't sleep so I wrote out this stuff .

I liked the character so much that I drew art with them before I played Forsaken for the first time (but I already played I like it)

my b3 oc :3 :3 him name is lauren/laurens . he has a blood battle technique thing but i honestly have no idea how those work so i havent really thought abt how he uses it.

hes mostly just for ocxcanon fun because i like self indulgent ship dynamics. but he does have alot of story and stuff .. . . . . i mainly ship him with zapp and in the main story it is just him and zapp,…. but drawing him with zed too makesm e happy bc i love zeddy poo.. all of it is self indulgent loll. i honestly dont ship zed and zapp that much anymore since i made the art here but i still think its cute.

in main story stuff with him zed is more moral support for zapp .. or i guess more of a blunt frustration like stop being a dumbass and tell him how you feel . just silly fighting like they normally do. he gives zapp a big aggressive/motivational speech about how true love only comes around a few times in your life and you need to cherish it or whatever . he just likes lecturing him honestly i wonder who took after their master more .
